  • Publication number: 20240126965
Abstract: Methods of verifying a property of a hardware design for an integrated circuit to implement a product of power functions of the form x0t0× . . . ×xntn, wherein t0 . . . tn are fixed, rational numbers, x0 . . . xn are floating point inputs, and n is an integer greater than or equal to one. A first verification phase comprises formally verifying that, for any first non-exception input set X=X0, . . . , Xn and any second non-exception input set Y=Y0, . . . , Yn in an input space wherein corresponding inputs have a same mantissa and (t0X0.exp+ . . . +tnXn.exp)?(t0Y0.exp+ . . . +tnYn.exp) is an integer, an instantiation of the hardware design generates outputs X? and Y? with a same mantissa and X?exp?(t0X0.exp+ . . . +tnXn.exp)=Y?exp?(t0Y0.exp+ . . . +tnYn.exp); and second verification phase comprises verifying the property for the hardware design for a subset of input sets in the input space, the subset of input sets selected based on exponents sets wherein (t0X0.exp+ . . . +tnXn.exp)?(t0Y0.exp+ . . . +tnYn.

  • Publication number: 20220260316
Abstract: A heat exchanger comprising a plurality of A channels in a heat exchanger matrix running in a first direction wherein each A channel is formed along its length as a waveform with an identical wavelength, channel width, wave angle, and wall thickness. Adjacent A channels running in an orthogonal direction are 180 degrees out of phase. The plurality of A channels form the plurality of B channels running in a cross-flow direction with the outer walls of the A channels. The B channels exist as the negative space between adjacent 180 degree out of phase A channels.

  • Publication number: 20210041188
Abstract: Heat exchanger assemblies including turning vanes are taught herein. In preferred embodiments, the heat exchanger assembly comprises: an inlet duct; a heat exchanger coupled to the inlet duct and a plurality of turning vanes coupled to the heat exchanger and protruding into the inlet duct. The intake plane of the heat exchanger is at an angle between 0 degrees and 90 degrees to the primary flow direction of the inlet duct. The plurality of turning vanes comprise: a straight leading edge of length L that is parallel to the primary flow direction of the inlet duct; a convex lower surface that transitions a bottom of the leading edge to an upper wall of a lower channel of the heat exchanger; and a concave upper surface that transitions a distal point of the turning vane to a second channel of the heat exchanger.

  • Publication number: 20170353492
Abstract: A method for emulating devices communicating over one or more networks includes intercepting and recording protocols used in communications between real network devices and statistically analyzing the recorded protocols. The method further includes developing, based on the statistical analysis, a behavioral specification for at least one master honeypot. In some examples, the development of the behavioral specification includes generating a Markov chain based on the statistical analysis, which is used to guide the probabilistic selection of properties of packets to be sent from the at least one master honeypot to at least one remote monkey honeypot. Each packet includes an unencrypted header and an encrypted payload, and each encrypted payload includes a response specification to be executed by the at least one remote monkey honeypot upon receipt of the packet from the at least one master honeypot.

  • Patent number: 9131189
Abstract: Broadcast server and method for transmitting electronic program guide data to set top boxes via a broadcast network. The broadcast server is arranged to prepare a list of unique entries and associated identifications of the text items received, and to provide a compressed list to the plurality of set top boxes. The broadcast server repeats the following steps for each text item in the list: determining whether a next text item has a number of shared consecutive characters at the start in common with a compressed text item from the compressed list, identifying said compressed text item as a source of shared consecutive characters and determining the number of shared consecutive characters; storing for the next text item an identification, a reference to the source of shared consecutive characters, the number of shared consecutive characters, and the remaining non-shared text in the compressed list.
