  • Patent number: 10867317
Abstract: The disclosure facilitates loyalty earnings by generating purchase recommendations. Loyalty data is collected from a loyalty program data store. The loyalty data is associated with a loyalty profile of a user. Account data is collected from an account data store. The account data is associated with an account of the user that is linked to the loyalty profile of the user. Transaction data is collected from a transaction data store. The transaction data is associated with the account of the user. User recommendations are generated for prioritizing loyalty earnings on the loyalty profile based on the loyalty data, account data, and transaction data. After the recommendations are generated, the recommendations are caused to be displayed on a user interface associated with a computing device of the user. Combining the three types of collected data to generate the recommendations results in accurate recommendations that are tailored to the user to increase loyalty earnings.

  • Publication number: 20080251373
Abstract: A system of purifying water in a pressurised system using a venturi to contact a chemical with the water, the system having a main water line from inlet (5) to faucet (15) and including a bypass loop (13) incorporating the venturi (6) to add the chemical to the water, a pump (12) in the bypass loop (13) to pass water through bypass loop (13) at constant pressure whereby the venturi (6) delivers the chemical at a constant rate irrespective of the variation of water pressure in the main water line (5) due to opening and closing of the faucet.

  • Patent number: 6280491
Abstract: An apparatus for separating and filtering pollutants from a fluid flow by using inertia to separate a proportion of the pollutants from the fluid flow passing through a constricted passage between a pair of filter elements to an outlet between the filter elements. The constricted passage causes the major portion of the fluid flow to be diverted to pass through the filter elements to the outlet in a direction whereby the filtered fluid flow exits into the outlet of the constricted passage. The apparatus also includes a device to periodically clean the filter elements whilst in position in the apparatus.

  • Patent number: 4045332
Abstract: The degradation of furfural, used in the solvent extraction of aromatics, is inhibited by the use of a furfural-soluble, recoverable amine having a pK.sub.a greater than that of aniline. The preferred amine is N,N-diethyl aniline and the amount used may be 0.001 to 5% wt., preferably 0.01 to 2% wt. by weight of furfural. The recoverable amine may be used in combination with a non-recoverable amine, eg. tri-ethanolamine, the amount of non-recoverable amine being preferably 1 to 1000 ppm wt., particularly 5 to 50 ppm.
