  • Publication number: 20240375037
Abstract: An apparatus and process for oxygen production can be configured to utilize flash vapor losses, recovery of regeneration heat and/or utilize a compressor to provide better heat integration and/or less wasteful processing for the recovery of oxygen that can be obtained from electrolysis (e.g., operation of one or more electrolyzers). Some embodiments may utilize all three of these features while other embodiments may use only one of these features or a combination of two of these features.

  • Patent number: 7912920
Abstract: The stream sourcing content delivery system goes to a database and builds a physical stream, based on a schedule. The stream source content delivery system works at a station ID (SID), finds the order of the delivery of content for the station based upon the schedule, and downloads a plurality of music files to its hard drive to enable play back. The stream source content delivery system then concatenates the files, to create stream, and awaits the request of one or more stream recipients. Some preferred system embodiments further comprise a fail-safe mode, whereby a loop of music is generated from the downloaded stream, and is delivered to one or more users when further access to content is interrupted, such that recipients experience an uninterrupted delivery of a plurality of files, e.g. songs.

  • Publication number: 20100284245
Abstract: Apparatus and methods of mixing and dispensing small samples are described. Samples may be mixed in a small vessel (12) which is provided with an impeller (20) located at or adjacent its base (14) and driven by a shaft (22) extending through the base. Mounted for rotation within the vessel, either with the impeller or independently thereof, is an agitator means such as a helical spring (28) which is compressible towards the impeller under applied load. Samples may be dispensed from the vessel using a piston member (40) having a through passage (44). The piston member is insertable into the vessel to force the sample therefrom through the passage.

  • Publication number: 20050097185
Abstract: A method is provided which directs users to the closest mirror site for desired content. For each mirrored instance of a content store, the distance is determined to each of the networks from which users connect, wherein the determined distance is typically based upon the number of hops and or latency. The localization information is stored, such as by populating a localization database or a localization web service. Upon receipt of a user request for a web page that includes a link to localized/mirrored content, the stored localization information is queried, to determine the closest mirror to the user, based upon the IP address of the user terminal or network. A web page is then generated and transmitted to the user, which comprises a localized link to the determined mirror site. When the user selects the localized link, the user is automatically directed to the closest, i.e. local, mirror.
