  • Patent number: 12671106
Abstract: A method for producing a storage cell for an electrical energy storage device includes providing an electrode winding having an electrode foil. A processing device is provided, having a base, which is rotatable about a base axis of rotation, and processing elements, which are each rotatable about an element axis of rotation relative to the base and which engage with a particular arcuate guide, assigned to the particular processing element, of the base. The base is rotated relative to the electrode winding, relative to the element axes of rotation and relative to the processing elements about the base axis of rotation, whereby the guides cause the processing elements to perform a particular pivoting movement about the element axes of rotation relative to the electrode winding, relative to the base and toward the base axis of rotation.

  • Publication number: 20260058249
Abstract: An electrical energy storage device includes storage cells and a plurality of temperature control elements through which a temperature control medium flows and by which the temperature of the storage cells can be controlled. A distribution element is common to the temperature control elements and through which the temperature control medium flows and into which associated connection pieces of the temperature control elements are inserted so that the temperature control elements are fluidically connected to the distribution element. The distribution element has a distribution channel common to the temperature control elements and through which the temperature control medium flows.

  • Publication number: 20250201981
Abstract: An end plate for a cell housing of a battery cell includes: a first side and a second side, the second side arranged opposite the first side; a first groove that forms a first circular shape; and a second groove that forms a second circular shape is provided. A first aperture of the first groove or a second aperture of the second groove is on the first side or on the second side; the first groove and the second groove are mechanically coupled together; the first circular shape has a first radius r1; the second circular shape has a second radius r2; the first circular shape and the second circular shape have a common center; and the first radius r1 is at least 0.8 times as large as the second radius r2. A cell housing for a battery cell is further provided, including: a hollow cylinder; and an end plate, the end plate on an end face of the hollow cylinder. A battery cell is further provided, including a cell housing and an energy-storage device.

  • Publication number: 20250055083
Abstract: An energy storage cell, in particular a lithium-ion cell, comprising an in particular cylindrical housing main body which extends along a longitudinal axis and forms an arrangement space in which electrode material that is electrically conductively connected to the housing main body is arranged. The arrangement space is delimited at a second end by a cover element and at a first end by a base element. The base element is fastened electrically conductively and gas-tightly to the housing main body by electromagnetic pulse welding.

  • Publication number: 20230111535
Abstract: A battery for a motor vehicle includes a first stack of battery cells, a pressure being applied to the battery cells in the stack direction of the battery cells in the first stack, and a second stack of battery cells, the second stack being arranged adjacently to the first stack in the stack direction. A pressure is also applied to the battery cells of the second stack in the stack direction. A pressure plate, to which the pressure is applied in the stack direction, is arranged in an intermediate space formed between the first stack and the second stack, and the pressure plate is made of plastic at least in the contact regions where the pressure plate contacts the first stack and the second stack.

  • Patent number: 11529995
Abstract: A hollow-chamber profile for fastening a battery module in a vehicle includes a first side wall and a second side wall which lies opposite the first side wall, where the first side wall and the second side wall are connected to one another via a bottom wall. Additionally, the hollow-chamber profile has a top wall which lies opposite the bottom wall, where the top wall is designed to interact with at least one fastening device for fastening the battery module. The hollow-chamber profile has at least one intermediate wall which extends between the side walls from the top wall in the direction of the bottom wall, where a wall thickness of the at least one intermediate wall is dimensioned in such a way that the fastening device can be introduced at least partially into the wall thickness of the at least one intermediate wall.
