    Abstract: A low profile electrical connector for interconnecting electrical components in an electronic device is disclosed. In particular, a miniaturized electrical connector having deflectable contacts is provided. The electrical contact includes an elongated beam portion and a base portion. The elongated beam portion may include a plurality of cantilever beams which may be flexed together, or separately, from a undeflected position to a deflected position during engagement with an electronic component, such as a power pack or battery. The connector may include a conductive portion made of metal, and an insulator which is molded at one or more molding points into a base portion of the metal contacts. In one embodiment, a board to board connector is provided.
