  • Publication number: 20240324742
Abstract: There is provided a mount and a case for attaching a mobile device to a further object. The mount comprises first and second coupling members and a body having a front face between the coupling members and that faces the case when the mount is attached to the case. The first and second coupling members define an undercut, for receiving part of the case. The case has an attachment for attaching the case to the mobile device, a cover for covering part of the mobile device, first and second openings in the cover, and first and second overhangs that define undercuts in the cover for mating with corresponding respective overhangs of the mount.

  • Patent number: 12042421
Abstract: A coupling assembly according to certain embodiments is configured for use with an ostomy appliance, and generally includes a first coupling, a second coupling, and a clamp arrangement. The second coupling is mounted to the first coupling and surrounds at least a portion of the first coupling. The clamp arrangement is mounted to the second coupling and surrounds at least a portion of the second coupling. The clamp arrangement generally includes a clamp ring and a clamp lock. The clamp ring includes a first end portion, a second end portion, and a continuous body extending between the first end portion and the second end portion. The clamp lock is operable to selectively couple the first end portion with the second end portion to thereby discourage separation of the first coupling from the second coupling.

  • Publication number: 20210259875
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a coupling assembly (12) for an ostomy appliance (10) comprising a locking arrangement (60), a first coupling and a second coupling. The locking arrangement (60) comprises a locking ring (61) and first and second grips (70, 71) mounted to the locking ring (61). The locking ring (61) is mounted to first and/or second coupling, forms an inner circumference (62) and is adjustable between locked and unlocked configurations. In the locked configuration the locking ring (61) is for maintaining the first and second couplings (20, 40) in a coupled configuration and the inner circumference (62) is less than in the unlocked configuration. The first and second grips (70, 71) are positioned about the locking ring (61) to be moveable towards one another to increase the inner circumference (62) and adjust the locking ring (61) from the locked configuration to the unlocked configuration.

  • Publication number: 20210251797
Abstract: An outlet valve for an ostomy appliance comprises an axle defining a hollow bore for receiving a liquid output from the ostomy appliance. The axle comprises a curved lateral wall. An outlet element comprises a cap arranged concentrically with the axle and an outlet tube affixed to the cap. A valve opening is defined in the curved lateral wall. The cap is rotatable around the axle to move from a closed configuration in which the valve opening is not in liquid communication with the outlet tube to an open configuration in which the valve opening is in liquid communication with the outlet tube. The outlet valve further comprises an outlet element seal configured to provide: sealing between the cap and the axle around a circumference of the axle; and sealing between the valve opening and the intake opening when the outlet element is in the closed configuration.

  • Publication number: 20200114095
Abstract: A consumable cartridge is provided in connection with an inhaler device 10. The consumable cartridge includes a casing defining a cavity, the casing having a first region and a second region. An elastic bladder is located within the cavity of the casing and encloses a vaporizing liquid. The first region of the casing includes a pierceable portion, and the second region includes a pre-perforated portion. The bladder is disconnected from the casing in the first region, and is configured to rupture or to be cut when it is pierced by a piercing member of the inhaler device such that the ruptured or cut area of the bladder creates an opening which is significantly larger than the cross sectional area of the piercing.

  • Patent number: 10071836
Abstract: The dose dispense closure for a squeezable container. The closure has a body cap 20 with inlet orifices 37 and a transit orifice 34 which allows composition into the body cap. A piston 80 is provided within the body cap 20. When the container is squeezed, the piston 80 is forced down, thereby expelling liquid from a control cap 40 until the piston 80 lands on the end of a duct 60 in the control cap 40 to prevent further dispensing. When the squeezing force is removed, the piston 80 returns to its start position. The piston 80 is biased towards the end wall 33 of the body cap 20 by a compression element 87. The body cap 20 is attached directly to the container such that rotation of the body cap allows adjustment of the dosage without having to remove the body cap.
