Abstract: An expandable baton holder includes a holder body formed with a cavity for inserting therein an expandable baton, and a counter-pull-force device located in the holder body. An expansion force is a force needed to allow the telescoping sections of the expandable baton to be drawn out so the expandable baton is in its fully expanded orientation. A baton holding force is provided by the counter-pull-force device and is a force that keeps the expandable baton held in the holder body. The baton holding force is greater than the expansion force. When the expandable baton is pulled out of the holder body, the baton holding force keeps a portion of the expandable baton held inside the holder body, while the expansion force pulls each telescoping section out of its nested orientation so that the expandable baton is now in its expanded orientation, but the portion of the expandable baton is still held inside the holder body.

Abstract: A holster includes a holster housing that has a top portion and a side opening for inserting therethrough a weapon and for drawing the weapon in a forward direction through the side opening as opposed to the top portion, and a holster retention mechanism that has a retaining position in which the weapon is retained in the holster and a release position in which the weapon can be drawn from the holster. In the retaining position the holster retention mechanism has a portion that protrudes from the holster housing, and in the release position the holster retention mechanism does not protrude above the top portion of the holster housing.

Abstract: A magazine retention device includes a housing having a front surface and a back surface, a firearm attachment member for securing the magazine retention device to a portion of a firearm, a movable stop lever which includes a tab extending from a base member, the base member including an abutment face, and a pushing member which is urged against the abutment face by a biasing device. The movable stop lever has a locked position, in which the pushing member presses against the abutment face, which causes a portion of the movable stop lever to be pressed against a portion of the housing, such that the movable stop lever is sandwiched between the pushing member and the housing.

The holster retention tab includes a catch, which lockingly engages an ejection port of the weapon when the weapon is inserted into the holster housing, and a force inclined surface. A biasing device is mounted in the holster housing to apply an urging force on the holster retention tab so as to retain the catch in the ejection port when the weapon is inserted into the holster housing. The inclined surface pushes against the force inclined surface, thereby creating a force vector that causes the holster retention tab to pivot about the pivot element and overcome the urging force of the biasing device and release the catch from the ejection port.

Abstract: A holster includes a retention catch arranged to enter a portion of the weapon to be in a locked position. A release lever is coupled to the holster housing, which includes a shaft arranged to push against a catch interface member that can move the retention catch out of the locked position. The release lever includes a tab which in an initial position rests on a first surface in the holster housing. The release lever is movable so that the tab moves towards a channel formed in the holster housing and the release lever is movable to overcome a biasing force of a biasing device so that the release lever enters into the channel and pushes against the catch interface member to move the retention catch out of the locked position into an unlocked position. Without application of any force on the release lever, the biasing device urges the tab against a second surface and the release lever cannot return to the initial position.
