  • Publication number: 20250135730
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure include systems and methods that leverage adjacent component heating to accelerate the cure time of thermal interface adhesives. An exemplary method can include receiving a battery pack and a thermal management system including a cooling plate, an upper tray, and a lower tray joined to opposite surfaces of the cooling plate to define an enclosed volume therebetween. The method includes wetting an interface between the battery pack and the thermal management system with an adhesive and joining the battery pack to the thermal management system at the interface. The method includes directing a heating fluid through the enclosed volume, thereby heating the adhesive. The method includes, responsive to determining that a temperature of the adhesive has reached a target temperature, maintaining the temperature for a soak time according to a cure curve of the adhesive to achieve a target bond strength.

  • Publication number: 20250073364
Abstract: The present invention provides a breathing assistance apparatus that has a convenient and effective method of cleaning internal conduits inside the apparatus. The breathing assistance apparatus is preferably a gases supply and humidification device. The cleaning method is a method of disinfection that is automated so minimal training is required to disinfect in particular an internal elbow conduit within the device. It is therefore not necessary to dismantle the gases supply and humidification device, therefore, inadvertent damage to the internal parts of the device is avoided. The present invention also provides a method of disinfecting a heated breathing conduit and a patient interface.

  • Publication number: 20250062430
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure include systems and methods for leveraging a thermally triggered adhesive release for battery service. An exemplary method can include receiving a battery pack having an adhesive layer at an interface between a cooling plate and a component. A heating fluid is directed through an enclosed volume of the cooling plate and a temperature of the adhesive layer is measured. Responsive to determining that the temperature has reached a target temperature, a load is applied to the component until the component is removed.

  • Patent number: 12229583
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for transaction management. One of the methods includes, for a first transaction from a plurality of transactions, in response to determining that the first transaction for a corresponding user account at a first entity satisfies the threshold criteria for a corresponding second entity, accessing account data for the corresponding user account, first data for the first entity, and second data for the second entity to complete the first transaction. For a second transaction, in response to determining that the second transaction for a corresponding user account at the first entity does not satisfy the threshold criteria for the corresponding second entity, a determination is made to not access second data for the corresponding second entity, and account data is accessed for the corresponding user account and the first data for the first entity to complete the second transaction.

  • Patent number: 12156970
Abstract: The breathing assistance apparatus of the present invention includes a manifold that is provided with or retrofittable to gases supply and humidifying devices. The manifold allows gases from an oxygen concentrator to be combined with the flow through a gases supply and humidifying device, most usually air. The combined output of oxygen and other breathing gases (air) is then humidified. The breathing assistance apparatus and manifold of the present invention provides a safe method to add oxygen to the input air stream of a gases supply and humidifying device and reduces the amount of accumulation of oxygen within the gases supply device, reducing fire risk should sparking occur within the device.
