  • Publication number: 20230305256
Abstract: A fiber routing insert for an optical junction or distribution box, having: a first floor; first guide elements extending, along a spacing direction transversal to the first floor, from the first floor to first ceiling portions, the first guide elements defining a first path on the first floor configured to receive optical fibers, the first path defining a figure-eight fiber locking path; a second floor arranged at a raised position relative to the first floor and spaced apart from the first floor along the spacing direction, the second floor having a splicing area for splicing the optical fibers on the second floor; second guide elements arranged on the second floor, the second guide elements defining a second path on the second floor configured to receive optical fibers, a connecting element configured to guide optical fibers from the first path to the second path, the first ceiling portions define the second floor.

  • Publication number: 20230041299
Abstract: The present disclosure discloses a telecommunications enclosure (1) and a method for coupling a cable to a cable port of the telecommunications enclosure. The latter comprises a casing (10), a base (20) adapted to be removably coupled to the casing (10), and a plurality of sealing assemblies (40) adapted to be removably coupled to the base (20). Each sealing assembly (40) comprises an elastically deformable sealing module (43) interposed between a first member (46) and a second member (58). The first member (46) and second member (58) comprise each a main portion (47, 59) and a movable portion (51, 63), wherein the movable portion (51, 63) is movable between an open position, wherein a cable is allowed to access to the elastically deformable sealing module (43), and a closed position; the elastically deformable sealing module (43) has an access (44) to allow the cable to enter the respective cable port (42) when the movable portions (51, 63) are in the open position.

  • Patent number: 11353087
Abstract: A gripping device for retaining a cable includes a base, two opposed gripping arms projecting from the base towards respective end portions along an insertion direction and mutually spaced apart along a transversal direction perpendicular to the insertion direction. The gripping arms include retaining portions configured to receive the cable therebetween and insertion portions configured to allow insertion of the cable towards the retaining portions. The gripping device includes first protrusions projecting from the retaining portions, extending along a first direction angled with respect to the insertion direction and configured to act on the cable to retain the cable between the retaining portions. The gripping device includes second protrusions projecting from the insertion portions and extending along a second direction angled with respect to the insertion direction, where each of the second protrusions being tapered along the insertion direction towards the respective end portion.
