  • Patent number: 11445870
Abstract: A blower apparatus is driven by a drive motor and has an intake opening and a discharge opening. The blower apparatus has a handle for guiding the blower apparatus with the handle being mounted on the blower apparatus such that it is pivotable from a first position into at least a second position. The blower apparatus is configured such that, during operation of the blower apparatus, an air flow passes through the discharge opening in a discharge direction. The handle has a grip region, which, in the first position, is inclined differently with respect to the discharge direction compared with the second position.

  • Patent number: 10717206
Abstract: A power saw system has a power saw with housing; guide bar; and saw chain driven about the guide bar by an electric drive motor. A battery is arranged outside of the housing. A power cable is connected with its first end through an electrical connection to the battery and with the second end to the drive motor to supply the drive motor with power. An elastic securing element is connected by a fastening element to the housing. A connecting device connects by a mechanical connection the securing element to an operator of the power saw. The connecting device has an overload protection separating the mechanical connection between securing element and operator when a maximum pulling force is surpassed. Securing element and power cable form a cable assembly. A pull-out force for separating the electrical connection is smaller than the maximum pulling force.

  • Patent number: 10532484
Abstract: A motorized chain saw has a measuring system for measuring an object, in particular a trunk. The motorized chain saw has a saw chain, and the measuring system has an evaluation device. The measuring system includes a sensor system for capturing the movement of the saw chain as the saw chain rolls over an object to be measured. The evaluation device is configured to evaluate the movement of the saw chain captured by the sensor system. In a method for operating the motorized chain saw, the sensor system captures the movement of the saw chain as the saw chain rolls over an object to be measured, and the evaluation device evaluates the captured movement.

  • Patent number: 7017537
Abstract: A two-stroke engine (1) is especially for a handheld work apparatus such as a motor-driven chain saw, a cutoff machine or the like and has a cylinder (2) wherein a combustion chamber (3) is formed. The combustion chamber (3) is delimited by a reciprocating piston (5). The piston (5) drives a crankshaft (7) via a connecting rod (6). The crankshaft (7) is rotatably journalled in the crankcase (4). The combustion chamber (3) is connected to the crankcase (4) at pregiven piston positions via at least one transfer channel (11). The combustion chamber (3) has an outlet (10) for exhaust gases. An air channel (9) is provided which conducts combustion air into the crankcase (4) and a throttle element is mounted in the air channel (9). A compact configuration of the two-stroke engine (1) can be achieved when a separate fuel inlet (13) is provided in the crankcase (4) which is fed by a fuel metering system (15).
