  • Patent number: 11973153
Abstract: A memory controller comprises a command interface to transmit a memory command to a plurality of memory devices associated with the memory controller. The memory controller also comprises an acknowledgement interface to receive an acknowledgment status packet from the plurality of memory devices over a shared acknowledgement link coupled between the memory controller and the plurality of memory devices, the acknowledgement status packet indicating whether the command was received by the plurality of memory devices. In addition, the memory controller comprises a memory controller core to decode the acknowledgment status packet to identify a portion of the acknowledgement status packet corresponding to each of the plurality of memory devices.

  • Publication number: 20240017625
Abstract: A control module for a vehicle with at least one electric motor and a transmission is provided. The control module has a housing for receiving a transmission control electronics unit and an inverter electronics unit for controlling an electric motor, and a heat sink. The heat sink is disposed between a housing upper part and a housing lower part in such a manner that the heat sink forms part of the housing. The housing lower part and the heat sink form a medium-tight cavity for receiving the inverter electronics unit. The transmission control electronics unit is surrounded by a plastic casing. The transmission control electronics unit with the plastic casing forms the housing upper part. The housing upper part is connected to the heat sink in a thermally conductive manner such that a heat transport from the transmission control electronics unit to the heat sink takes place.

The control module has a housing for receiving transmission control electronics and converter electronics for controlling an electric motor. The control module also has a heat sink. The housing includes a housing upper part and a housing lower part. The heat sink is arranged between the housing upper part and the housing lower part such that the heat sink forms a part of the housing. The transmission control electronics are surrounded by a plastic sheathing. The transmission control electronics and the plastic sheathing form the housing upper part. The converter electronics are thermally conductively connected to the heat sink, and the housing upper part is thermally conductively connected to the heat sink in such a way that a heat transfer occurs from the transmission control electronics to the edge of the heat sink.

  • Publication number: 20230241970
Abstract: A control unit for a vehicle with at least one electric motor and a transmission includes a housing and a heat sink. The housing supports transmission control electronics and converter electronics for controlling an electric motor. The heat sink is arranged between a housing upper part and a housing lower part such that the heat sink forms a part of the housing. The housing upper part is arranged on a raised peripheral rim of the heat sink in a thermally conductive way such that the housing upper part and the heat sink form a media-tight cavity. The converter electronics are connected directly to the heat sink, and the transmission control electronics are connected to the inner side of the housing upper part such that the transport of heat takes place from the transmission control electronics, via the housing upper part, to the rim of the heat sink.

  • Publication number: 20190217264
Abstract: The personal water enhancement device disclosed herein is designed for removing particulates and impurities from a volume of water and then adding a preferred combination of vitamins and minerals to such volume of water. In a preferred embodiment, the device may comprise a water purifier and filter, a user interface, a database of water formulations, a container for storing salts, and a mechanism for dispensing salts into water. Such a device may allow a user to add a pre-set or customized concentration of various salts and minerals to said volume of water as per their unique needs, and may further reduce both the environmental burden of plastic bottle production and the financial burden of bottled water consumption.

  • Patent number: 9600938
Abstract: Systems and methods directed to augmented reality environments on mobile devices having a single camera are disclosed. The single camera of the mobile device captures the images of one or more markers, and based on the relative size of the markers, determines the position of the camera and the absolute distance relative to the markers. The mobile device establishes a zero parallax plane set at the bottom of the 3D virtual object superimposed on the physical marker. Reduced alignment errors occur between the lower end of the virtual object and the real-world markers, and the virtual object appears to be standing on the real-world object. As a result, the augmented reality stereo experience for the user is more comfortable as the display is matched between virtual objects and the real objects to make the overall scene more realistic.

  • Patent number: 7058740
Abstract: In one embodiment of the present invention, a bus controller is used in a multi-master system having first and second processors. The bus controller includes a bus arbiter and a first multiplexer. The bus arbiter is coupled to the first and second processors via first and second master buses, respectively, to generate an arbitration select signal based on result of arbitrating bus access information from the first and second processors. The first multiplexer is coupled to the first and second master buses and a first slave bus in a plurality of slave buses to provide device access information selected from the bus access information using the arbitration select signal. The device access information is transferred to a first slave device connected to the first slave bus.
