  • Patent number: 11623614
Abstract: A motor vehicle wiper blade includes a spoiler which extends along a longitudinal direction and a lip disposed on the spoiler. The spoiler has, along the longitudinal direction, a cutout which extends in a direction of the lip. The motor vehicle wiper blade has an inner circle side and an outer circle side. The cutout is disposed on the inner circle side of the motor vehicle wiper blade and there is no cutout on the outer circle side of the motor vehicle wiper blade.

  • Publication number: 20050266394
Abstract: One aspect of the present invention relates to magnetophoretic devices for cell clarification. In one embodiment, the magnetophoretic device is a counter-current device, comprising a plurality of pairs of magnets selected from the group consisting of permanent magnets and electromagnets; a chain rotated by a motor; tubing; a feed inlet; and a clarified feed outflow. In another embodiment, the magnetophoretic device is a quadrupole device, comprising four magnets selected from the group consisting of permanent magnets and electromagnets; and a cylindrical column. Another aspect of the invention relates generally to a method of separating non-magnetic particles from a magnetic fluid mixture, comprising the steps of combining a magnetic fluid with a sample comprising non-magnetic particles and non-magnetic fluid to form a mixture; subjecting said mixture to a degrading magnetic field; and isolating a portion of the non-magnetic particles from said mixture.

  • Patent number: 6228899
Abstract: Flexible foams based on polyisocyanate polyaddition products are produced by reacting polyisocyanates with compounds which are reactive toward isocyanates in the presence of catalysts, blowing agents and, if desired, flame retardants, auxiliaries and/or additives, wherein polyether polyalcohols (c) which are obtainable by addition of alkylene oxides onto substances containing active hydrogens are used as substances which are reactive toward isocyanates, where, in a first stage, at least one substance (a) containing 2 or 3 active hydrogens is reacted with at least one alkylene oxide in the presence or absence of catalysts, subsequently at least one substance (b) which contains at least four active hydrogens and, if desired, further catalyst is added to the reaction mixture from the first stage and this mixture is then reacted in a second stage with at least one alkylene oxide.
