  • Publication number: 20240092063
Abstract: A vehicle glazed unit includes a glass pane and a system to allow mobility of the glass pane in vertical translation relative to a door of the vehicle, the glass pane being curved and laminated and including an exterior glass sheet, an interior glass sheet and an adhesive material between the interior and exterior glass sheets. The edge of the interior glass sheet and the edge of the adhesive material sheet are both in a lateral projection of the edge of the exterior glass sheet in at least one hidden alignment zone which is located in the hidden part of the glass, and the interior offset has a width between 0.8 mm and 5.0 mm and is present in an entirety of the visible part of the glass pane.

  • Publication number: 20220203892
Abstract: An anti-collision warning system for a vehicle door includes a sensing module, a detection module, and a warning module. The sensing module is configured to sense whether a passenger has an intention to open a vehicle door and output a sensing result. The control module is coupled to the sensing module, the detection module and warning module, and the control module is configured to control the warning module to issue an alert based on information on traffic conditions from the detection module in response to the sensing result being YES. The anti-collision warning system can issue an alert to the passenger in a timely and effective manner when it senses that the passenger has the intention to open the vehicle door. Therefore, the passenger would be alerted and determine whether it is an appropriate time to open the vehicle door, thus preventing the vehicle door from colliding with an object.

  • Patent number: 10367142
Abstract: A layered structure suitable as a support for an organic light emitting device (OLED), includes a light-transmissive glass substrate, a diffusive internal extraction layer (IEL) with an outer layer made of a glass containing at least 30 weight % of Bi2O3, formed on one side of the light-transmissive glass substrate, and an acid-resistant barrier layer formed on the IEL. The acid-resistant barrier layer has a bilayer structure made of an ALD-deposited metal oxide layer, the metal oxide being selected from the group consisting of aluminum oxide (Al2O3), titanium oxide (TiO2), zirconium oxide (ZrO2) and hafnium oxide (HfO2), in contact with the IEL, and a sputter-deposited SiOxNy layer in contact with the ALD-deposited metal oxide layer.

  • Patent number: 9588059
Abstract: A method for analyzing quality of a glazing including: generating at least one digital image of a test chart produced in reflection by an external surface of the glazing on an outside of the glazing; computation by at least one processing unit of quantities representative of the quality of the glazing based on the at least one image generated; and comparing values computed for the representative quantities with respect to reference values. The test chart exhibits a pattern including elements of closed contours arranged periodically. The representative quantities are representative of a deformation of the image of the test chart produced in reflection by the external surface of the glazing on the outside of the glazing, and the computation of a representative quantity includes the computation of a density of the elements.

  • Patent number: 8861831
Abstract: A method for analyzing quality of a glazing unit including: generating a digital image of a test chart produced in reflection by an outer surface of the glazing, the test chart presenting a pattern composed of a plurality of contrasted elements defining between them interface lines; calculating quantities representative of the glazing from the image generated, the calculation being carried out by a processing unit; and comparing the calculated values for the representative values relative to reference values. The representative quantities are representative of a deformation of the image of the test chart produced in reflection by the outer surface of the glazing.
