Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a drug delivery arrangement including a drug delivery device for dispensing a liquid drug from a reservoir an electronic module. The delivery device includes a device housing and a movable member. The electronic module is releasably attachable to the device housing and includes a module housing, an actuator and an engaging member movable, by the actuator, relative to the module housing. The engaging member can be brought into engagement with the movable member such that a movement of one of the engaging member or the movable member causes a movement of the other of the movable member or the engaging member when the electronic module is attached to the drug delivery device.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a modular injection system including a first injection device including a first reservoir unit comprising a reservoir filled with medication, a housing for holding the reservoir and a plunger rod adapted to advance a piston inside the reservoir to dispense the medication and first automatic drive unit releasably attachable to the reservoir unit and including an automatic drive member automatically driven by a power source and adapted to be releasably coupled to the plunger rod. The modular system further comprises a second injection device including a second reservoir unit and a manual drive unit connected to the reservoir unit and including a manual drive member manually driven and connected to a plunger rod of the second reservoir unit. The first and second reservoir unit are identical.

Abstract: A method for establishing a secure connection for transmitting data between a medical device system and a mobile device with wireless communication module is provided, where the medical device system comprises one or multiple devices, where the method comprises multiple steps. On the basis of a non-secure connection, a secure connection is established on the basis of a joint movement of mobile device and at least one device of the medical device system. Movement data are evaluated for this purpose.

The piston rod is guided through an aperture in an inner or outer wall of the housing. The aperture is sealed but allows the piston rod to move. Abstract: A modular device for administering a fluid medicament fixable to the skin of a user includes a reservoir module with a reservoir defining a first axis, a first connecting structure and a first electrical contact arrangement; and a pump module with a piston rod defining a second axis, a second connecting structure arranged around the piston rod, and a second electrical contact arrangement. The first and second connecting structures are plugged together and the first axis and the second axes lie on a common axis forming a rotational axis. The pump module is rotated relative to the reservoir module about this rotational axis to electrically connect the first and second electrical contact arrangements. The first contact arrangement is displaced radially farther from the first axis than the first connecting structure, and the second electrical contact arrangement is displaced radially farther from the second axis than the second connecting structure.
