  • Patent number: 12376940
Abstract: A holding device for holding and supporting at least one medical instrument, more specifically a surgical handpiece. The holding device includes a central feedline, at least one line portion of which is connected to the end portion of a central feedline. At least one surgical handpiece can be coupled to the line portion. The holding device also includes a connector portion formed on another end portion of the central feedline. The connector portion can be coupled to a preliminary cleaning unit, more specifically a water/compressed air gun, and a cleaning unit, more specifically a filter unit connected to a rinsing line.

  • Patent number: 11382639
Abstract: A medical drive unit receives and rotationally drives a medical, preferably surgical tool, by a motor, preferably an electric motor, housed in the drive unit which can be operated via a control or regulation unit. The medical drive unit includes a sensor device for directly or indirectly detecting or determining a movement of the drive unit or a holding movement of the user which is triggered by the motor corresponding to the power applied to the tool and a kickback control which automatically effects a reduction of the driving power or turning off of the motor upon detection of a predetermined drive unit or holding movement or a predetermined drive-unit or holding-movement amount.

  • Patent number: 8719870
Abstract: A computer system includes a touch-screen display that displays an electronic program guide to a user. The EPG includes a list of television programs scheduled to be shown at a current time as well as a timeline and an indicator. The television programs in the EPG have a substantially fixed size, independent of the program duration. The user can adjust the relevant time in the EPG by manipulating the timeline and the indicator so that they slide relative to one another. The EPG is updated to include a list of television programs at a new time according to the new position of the indicator on the timeline. A selectable icon is provided to enable the user to return the EPG to a current time.
