  • Publication number: 20190362858
Abstract: Systems and methods herein allow a monitored individual to monitored by a monitoring individual remote therefrom. The systems and methods allow the monitoring individual to define initial configuration settings by completing an on-line questionnaire. The monitored individual is then conditioned to use hardware components of the monitoring system based on these initial configuration settings, and then the system continues to self-learn and modify generated prompts to the monitored individual based on continued use and/or non-use of the hardware by the monitored individual.

  • Patent number: 9980463
Abstract: An item dispensing device having a wheel with a dispensing bucket formed into the wheel wall. The device can have a number of features to prevent items being dispensed from interlocking and thereby preventing further dispensing. These features can include protrusions on the cylinder wall, and a torsion spring to agitate the items to be dispensed, and a reed sweeper to help prevent jamming of an item during dispensing. Further, the device includes an ejection arm having an ejection face configured to dispense items in a manner that are engaging for a pet.

  • Publication number: 20150327514
Abstract: A device for and method to provide pet rewards. The device includes a sound apparatus to alert a pet that a reward is about to be dispensed and a video camera wirelessly coupled to a remote user device to view the pet and the dispensing of a reward. Remote control of sounds, treat delivery, and pet viewing over a wireless connection can be provided with and through a user device. The method include connecting to a wireless network, a remote use device connection to the device, and the user device sending commands for sending video data, outputting sounds, and dispensing pet-rewards.

  • Patent number: 8824866
Abstract: Storage emulation control is described. In embodiment(s), a logical storage media can be emulated to a video processor of a video processing device where the logical storage media includes at least an internal storage media and an external storage media of the video processing device. A video processor command to initiate recording of video content on the logical storage media can be received, and the video processor command can then be arbitrated to record the video content on at least one of the internal storage media and the external storage media.

  • Publication number: 20130094441
Abstract: A system for automatically associating a first wireless device with a second wireless device comprising a wireless device that toggles between client mode and access point mode. The first device communicates using first access point device when is client mode. When the first wireless device switches to access point mode it forms a pulsed overlay wireless network. The first wireless device transmits a unique identifier over the pulsed overlay wireless network to the second wireless device. When the second wireless device receives and detects the unique identifier, a token is transmitted over the first wireless network to the second and wherein the token is configured with a mobile device identifier that uniquely identifies the second client device.

  • Patent number: 8234425
Abstract: An arbiter module is described. In one or more implementations, an apparatus comprises a plurality of interfaces to provide a communicative coupling between a central processing unit, a media drive and a network. The apparatus further comprises one or more modules to manage data routing between each of the plurality of interfaces such that the data is routable between the media drive and the network independent of the central processing unit.

  • Patent number: 6078567
Abstract: An echo detecting system includes data stores for storing signals from up and down channels respectively. The signals undergo pre-processing to identify signals forms characteristic of speech and instruct a measurement unit to carry out comparison using cross-correlation techniques between the signals stored in the stores only when such characteristics are detected. This reduces the processing power required and raises the accuracy of the correlations. Parallel processing techniques allow echoes with longer delay periods to be detected. The results of the measurement may be used to generate an echo-cancellation signal.
