  • Patent number: 12140422
Abstract: A method and a set-up apparatus for a tool for punching or forming sheet-form materials having a punch holder into which a punch of the tool is insertable and a die holder into which a die of the tool or a die carrier holding the die is insertable. The punch holder and the die holder are movable towards one another by a guide. The punch holder is transferred along the guide into a measuring position in which the punch rests on a surface of a measurement object which rests on the die. A distance of the punch holder is measured from a zero point of the die holder and a distance of the measurement object from the zero point. An evaluation device outputs a punch length of the punch and a die height of the die or a die height of the die arranged in the die carrier.

  • Patent number: 12122060
Abstract: A method cuts a, in particular flat, workpiece by a cutting beam and a cutting fluid. A workpiece part to be cut away is consecutively cut into at least two smaller portions which fall or are lowered downwards from a surrounding remaining workpiece after they have each been cut away. The division into smaller portions and the execution of the cut for separating the first smaller portion occur such that the point at which the first-cut, first smaller portion is cut away lies within the outer contour of the workpiece part to be cut away.

  • Patent number: 12055911
Abstract: A method for recognition and compensation of an offset measure between stamping coordinates of a stamping device and laser coordinates of a laser device in a combined stamping-laser machine for processing a plate-shaped workpiece, particularly a metal sheet, includes introducing a structure into the plate-shaped workpiece by respectively using the stamping device or the laser device. A measurement variable of the introduced structure is determined respectively by the laser device or the stamping device. The measurement variable is compared with an expected variable, and a deviation of the measurement variable from the expected variable corresponds to an offset measure. The offset measure is balanced with the coordinates of the laser device in the laser coordinate system or with the coordinates of the stamping device in the stamping coordinate system in order to compensate for the offset measure between the stamping coordinates and the laser coordinates.

  • Publication number: 20230054278
Abstract: A method for determining a minimum width of a microjoint by which, when machining a workpiece, in particular a sheet-like workpiece, a workpiece part remains connected to a remaining workpiece of the workpiece. In the method, the minimum width of the microjoint is determined in dependence on at least one machining parameter which influences a relative position of the workpiece part in relation to the remaining workpiece during the machining of the workpiece. A further method determines an attachment position of such a microjoint and a still further method machines the workpiece.
