  • Patent number: 11937658
Abstract: A sports helmet has: a shell; a face protector; and a face mask disposed on an inner side of the face protector, the face mask having a body overlapping a nose and a mouth and defining a volume between the face and the body, the body defining a top edge for engaging the face and a bottom edge opposed to the top edge and disposed proximate a chin, the bottom edge secured to a lower portion of the face protector at a location spaced apart from the face to define a gap therebetween, and lateral straps secured to one or both of the face protector and the shell for biasing the top edge against the face of the wearer, the body made of a material offering a flow resistance such that an exhalation flow from the wearer is deviated towards the gap and away from the face protector.

  • Patent number: 11225601
Abstract: For applications in the fields of organic electronics and photonics, disclosed are fluorescent charge-transfer compounds emitting in the visible spectral range from blue to red, including a triarylamine moiety, an electron-withdrawing group and at least two photopolymerizable groups. Also disclosed is a method for manufacturing a film-forming and photo-crosslinkable composition including at least one compound of the invention and its use as a precursor of a photocrosslinked emissive layer.

  • Patent number: 10920329
Abstract: An anode assembly for an aluminum electrolysis cell is provided. The anode assembly includes a baked anode block, a plurality of elongated connection elements each having an anode block contact surface and an electrical connection surface, at least one electromechanical crossbar connector covering the electrical connection surfaces of the elongated connection elements, and a crossbar electrically connected to the elongated connection elements. A method for manufacturing an anode assembly for an aluminum electrolysis cell is also provided. The method includes the steps of forming a block of green anode paste, inserting a plurality of elongated connection elements in the green anode paste, baking the green anode, positioning a crossbar above the electrical connection surfaces of the plurality of elongated connection elements, and covering the electrical connection surfaces and at least partially the crossbar with a surface-conforming electrically-conductive material.

  • Patent number: 9153216
Abstract: A streamlined rotary valve includes a main body with a first, a second, and a third tube. A first casing member includes a first opening, a first and a second air inlet opening, which are in communication with a first accommodation space. The first air inlet opening is connected to an end of the first tube. A manual actuator includes a pressing section, which when pressed, an end of the third tube is set in communication with the first air inlet opening; an opposite end of the third tube in communication with the second air outlet opening; an end of the second tube in communication with the second air inlet opening; and an opposite end of the second tube in communication with the first air outlet opening, thus generates different sound effects. With 72 degrees angle of rotation and adjustable stop elements, the present invention improves speed response and accuracy.
