Patent number: 12019400Abstract: A system for retaining a wrist watch in a watch winder having a hollow cylindrical turntable, includes a watch winder cuff defining a first circumferential profile, with two push tabs mounted on the cuff for inserting the cuff into the turntable and removing the cuff from the turntable, and one or more extension cuffs of differing length defining a second circumferential profile shaped to match the first circumferential profile, with a connector disposed thereon for engaging and joining the watch winder cuff and a selected extension cuff together. The connector may include a stub disposed on the extension cuff configured to fit snugly inside a depression on the watch winder cuff, or a hollow sleeve extending forwardly from the extension cuff and being configured to fit snugly over the watch winder cuff body to join the watch winder cuff and extension cuff together.Type: GrantFiled: November 2, 2020Date of Patent: June 25, 2024Assignee: WOLF 1834Inventors: Simon P. Wolf, Fiona Howard

Publication number: 20240074601Abstract: A travel watch stand includes a base and a watch holder connected to the base by a folding support arm which pivots in multiple places and can be selectively raised to support the watch holder in an elevated position above the base when deployed, and selectively lowered to form a compact shape where the watch holder lies flat on the base when collapsed. The arm is concealed in an opening in the base when lowered. A storage tray for holding cufflinks, rings, coins and other items can be provided in the base alongside the opening for the folding arm. The watch holder and support arm can be deployed and positioned in many different ways to accommodate watches and jewelry of different size, shape and weight and to display them in various ways. The base can be enlarged and provided with multiple storage compartments to serve as a valet tray.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 23, 2023Publication date: March 7, 2024Applicant: Wolf 1834Inventor: Simon P. Publication number: 20090294320Abstract: A controllable watch winder for a self-winding mechanical watch, in which a turntable is provided to hold and rotate the watch, including a programmable microprocessor circuit configured to count the number of rotations executed by the turntable. In one aspect, the watch winder is configured to introduce, after the electronic circuit is activated, a delay period before the turntable commences rotating. In another aspect, the circuit may be configured to interrupt the rotation of the turntable with pauses, to break up the rotation into cyclical sets. The circuit may be configured to automatically predetermine the number of rotations in each set. In yet another aspect, the watch winder may be configured to be manually adjustable, to variably predetermine before use, the number of rotations to be executed by the turntable and the length of any pause between rotations.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 14, 2009Publication date: December 3, 2009Applicant: Wolf Designs, Inc.Inventors: Simon P. Wolf, V, Tony Ming Sangng
