  • Publication number: 20190053684
Abstract: A squeegee frame that has almost snap replaceable blades so they can be easily flipped upside down to increase the life of the blades by 100%. The blades are adjoined to two flexible winglets that prevent fluid and debris from going around the blade in both the forward and backward movement of the squeegee providing the squeegee blades with more efficient use of a bi-directional squeegee.

  • Publication number: 20160113473
Abstract: An adjoined shock absorbing non-breakable two-sectional swivel type attachment in which one section is made from a unitary shock absorbing flexible elastomer material absorbing shocks and allowing for a quick release clamp mechanism and the other section is adjoined by an axis that retains the handle allowing for swivel movement. The adjoined two piece attachment can be locked via a pin with protruding lock lever that can be rotated in either the locked non-swiveling position that engages into a lock cavity housing or rotated 90 degrees and allow for the connector to freely swivel. The combination of a non-removable lockable pin allows for easy transition between the locked and swivel position thus a quick release unitary flexible clamp mechanism adjoined to a swivel mechanism allows for small tools, cleaning devices, such as scrub brushes, wall washers, abrasive pad holders, etc.

  • Publication number: 20130298342
Abstract: A unitary shock absorbing one piece flexible joint located between an upper and lower handle portion of a cleaning apparatus handle thus allowing flexing of the handle around the mid section when the handle is being abused. The Flex-Joint apparatus being rectangular in shape thus having flexing attributes when the handle is forced down thus flexing and not bending causing handle breakage. Secondly, the curvature of the connector on the bottom side and flat surface between the end of the connector lip and handle allows for heavy object to come on contact with the handle and not cause breakage.

  • Publication number: 20110107551
Abstract: A flexible attachment mechanism used in conjunction with a push broom or floor squeegee having a handle and a broom head or squeegee blade to provide a flexible attachment mechanism at the junction where the broom head or squeegee blade handle is connected to the broom head or squeegee blade support frame. The flexible attachment mechanism allows the broom head or squeegee blade to flex up and down causing the flexible attachment mechanism to be pre-loaded when pushing with the handle and upon releasing the downward movement during a normal sweeping action, the pre-loaded flexible attachment mechanism springs up, which in turn causes the broom head or squeegee blade to spring upwardly to kick the debris further away from the broom head or squeegee blade holder. Furthermore, the new innovation allows heavy equipment to run over the handle and/or cleaning head and flex thus reduce handle and/or cleaning head damage.

  • Patent number: 7895697
Abstract: An adjoined flexible two-piece swivel joint type floor cleaning attachment in which either upper or lower and/or both sections are made from a unitary flexible elastomer material allowing for a unitary quick release clamp mechanism that adjoins to a cleaning head apparatuses. The combination of the quick release unitary flexible clamp mechanism adjoined to a jam/stop swivel mechanism allows for small cleaning devices, such as scrub brushes, wall washers, abrasive pad holders, etc. to be easily engaged and disengaged allowing the cleaning device to also be used as a hand held device. Furthermore, swivel type floor cleaning devices will no longer need their own swivel type connector affixed onto the cleaning head thus making the cleaning products more cost efficient.

  • Patent number: 6279189
Abstract: An attachment in which the flexible member is rectangular in shape and has limit stops which are affixed at a location between the handle and the head of a brush broom to provide a controlled flexible member at the junction where the handle is attached to the head. Through the use of the controlled flexible member being rectangular in shape, the handle maintains rigidity in the direction in which the brush broom head is moved but is flexible in the lateral direction and therefore can be bent at controlled angles relative to the head. Therefore, when the brush broom head comes in contact with a stationary object such as the leg of a table, the brush broom head will flex or flow around the object without damage to the broom head or object.

  • Patent number: 6237182
Abstract: A unitary molded flexible elastomer floor dust mop attachment in which the flexible member is affixed at a location between the floor dust mop handle and the floor dust mop head. Through the use of the elastomeric controlled flexible member being rectangular or elongated in shape, the handle maintains rigidity in the direction in which the dust mop head is moved but is flexible in the lateral direction and therefore can be bent at controlled angles relative to the floor dust mop head. Therefore, when the floor dust mop head comes in contact with a stationary object such as the leg of a table, the floor dust mop head will flex or flow around the object without damage to the mop head or object.
