  • Publication number: 20210033080
Abstract: A control device of a compressor includes a piston which reciprocates by a swash plate, a crankcase receiving the swash plate mounted such that an inclination angle thereof is variable, a discharge chamber from which a compressed working fluid is discharged, a suction chamber sucking the working fluid to be compressed, a first communication channel connecting the suction chamber and the crankcase, a second communication channel connecting the discharge chamber and the crankcase, and a control valve which selectively opens and closes the first communication channel and the second communication channel. The control device includes a suction pressure sensor measuring a pressure of the suction chamber, a valve control unit determining a target suction pressure on the basis of the value measured by the suction pressure sensor and a set temperature, and a valve driving unit controlling the opening degree of the control valve to achieve the target suction pressure.

  • Publication number: 20200340464
Abstract: A compressor control module (CCM) controls an output of a variable displacement swash plate compressor. The CCM directly calculates, or receives from an external source, a signal indicating a desired or required output from the compressor, receives a current value of the desired or required output, and receives or calculates a current rotation speed and angle, with respect to a rotation axis, of a swash plate, or a current piston stroke length and a reciprocating frequency of the compressor. The CCM determines a difference between the desired or required output from the compressor and the current value and outputs a signal to a valve driving unit which will adjust an angle of a swash plate such that the actual value becomes closer to, or the same as, the desired or required output, taking into account the additional values received or calculated in the receives or calculates step.

  • Publication number: 20200277945
Abstract: A compressor having a front housing in which a crank chamber is formed. A cylinder block is coupled to an opposite surface facing the front housing and includes reciprocating pistons in a plurality of cylinder bores. A rear housing is coupled to an opposite surface facing the cylinder block, the rear housing includes a suction chamber and a discharge chamber formed therein. A rotating shaft 400 is inserted via centers of the front housing and the cylinder block, the shaft inserted into a swash plate. A diameter maintenance part is configured to constantly maintain a diameter based on an axis direction of the piston 220. A sensor part is configured to sense a speed and a stroke of the piston in accordance with a change in position of a position determination part positioned on one side of the diameter maintenance part.

  • Publication number: 20190219421
Abstract: A displacement sensor comprises a magnetic field source generating a magnetic field and a magnetic field sensor arrangement adapted to contactlessly detect a relative position of the magnetic field source with respect to the magnetic field sensor arrangement. The magnetic field sensor arrangement includes a first magnetic field sensor adapted to generate a first position signal and a second magnetic field sensor adapted to generate a second position signal. Each of the first magnetic field sensor and the second magnetic field sensor has a magnetic field probe adapted to detect a magnetic flux density of the magnetic field, an evaluation unit for evaluating an output signal of the magnetic field probe, and a communication interface for emitting and receiving a plurality of communication signals. The first magnetic field sensor and the second magnetic field sensor are connected to each other via a data bus for transmitting the communication signals.

  • Publication number: 20190003467
Abstract: A subassembly for a compressor controls a fluid flow of a fluid between a high-pressure region and a crank chamber pressure region and between the crank chamber pressure region and a suction pressure region of the compressor. The subassembly includes a first electrical control valve, a second electrical control valve, and an electrical control device. Each of the first electrical control valve and the second electrical control valve has a valve member arranged within a valve housing and displaceable between a pair of positions. The electrical control device is adapted to control, during operation of the compressor, a fluid flow between the high-pressure region and a crank chamber pressure region and between the crank chamber pressure region and the suction pressure region by controlling the positions of the valve members.
