    Abstract: A device for obtaining carbonic substances, particularly bitumen, from oil sands is provided. The device has at least one steam generator, an injection pipeline and a production pipeline. Steam can be introduced into the oil sand via the injection pipeline, and the carbonic substance can be removed from the oil sand via the production pipeline. At least one steam turbine is arranged between the steam generator and the injection pipeline. A method for obtaining carbonic substances, particularly bitumen, from oil sands is also provided.
