In order to provide at least one stationary function in a parked state of the motor vehicle, a component of the motor vehicle that carries out the stationary function is supplied with energy from the low-voltage onboard electrical system, at least one energy profile, which relates to the use of the at least one stationary function by a user of the motor vehicle, is provided and the operation of the motor vehicle is controlled depending on this energy profile.
