  • Patent number: 11766798
Abstract: A cutter is provided for cutting through obstructions disposed in the interior of pipes ranging in size from approximately 8? to approximately 15? in diameter or from approximately 12? to approximately 24? in diameter. The cutter has been reduced in size relative to known root cutters to be capable of being used with smaller-diameter pipes, but is sufficiently powerful to cut through obstructions, such as mineral deposits, for example, that known flexible cutters capable of being used with these smaller-diameter pipes are incapable of cutting through.

  • Publication number: 20230062905
Abstract: A nozzle is provided for cleaning the interior of pipes that is capable of cutting through obstructions disposed in the interior of pipes. The nozzle comprises a three-dimensional (3-D) fluid mechanics comprising a 3-D redirection configuration that redirects high-pressure fluid received in the nozzle from a fluid source onto multiple pathways, or channels, toward rearwardly-facing jet outlets. The 3-D fluid redirection configuration redirects the water in a manner that reduces or eliminates vibrations in the nozzle that can degrade performance and cause other problems.

  • Publication number: 20210260879
Abstract: A nozzle camera system and method that can be used to inspect the interior of a pipe. The system comprises a nozzle main body, a video camera, a controller and a user interface (UI). The nozzle main body serves as a housing for the video camera and for a jet former configuration. The jet former configuration comprises at least one liquid intake port and at least one liquid flow channel. The liquid intake port has a connection for connecting the jet former configuration to a liquid conduit that supplies liquid to the nozzle main body. The liquid intake port is in fluid communication with the liquid flow channel for supplying liquid via the liquid flow channel to one or more jet ports. The controller is in communication with the video camera and the UI is in communication with the controller and includes at least a display system that displays video images captured by the video camera.
