  • Publication number: 20230108877
Abstract: The present invention relates to an oily dispersion (A) comprising i) at least one particle consisting of an ethylenic polymer, ii) at least one polymeric stabilizer comprising a (C9-C22)alkyl group, and iii) at least one hydrocarbon-based fatty substance which is liquid at 20° C. and 1 atmosphere. The invention also relates to a process for treating keratin materials, notably human keratin materials such as the skin or the hair, involving the application to said materials of at least one oily dispersion (A); to a process for preparing the oily dispersion, and to a multi-compartment kit comprising ingredients i) to iii). The oily dispersion (A) and the process for treating keratin materials as defined above make it possible to obtain a treatment for said materials which is notably resistant to shampoo washing, to sebum, to sweat and/or to water, but also to fatty substances, notably dietary fatty substances such as oils.

  • Publication number: 20210401683
Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for treating keratin materials, preferably human skin, in particular the lips, preferably in at least two steps involving, in a first stage, the application to said materials of an oily dispersion (A) comprising i) particles of copolymers of alkyl acrylates and of anhydride acrylics, ii) stabilizers, iii) one or more hydrocarbon-based oils; and then, in a second stage, the application to said materials of a composition (B) comprising iv) one or more amine compounds, it being understood that the process of the invention uses v) one or more cosmetic active agents chosen from a) pigments, b) active agents for caring for the skin, and c) UV-screening agents and also d) mixtures thereof; ingredients a) to d) possibly being found in composition (A), and/or in composition (B), and/or in another composition (C).

  • Patent number: 10973753
Abstract: The invention relates to a dispersion of polymer particles stabilized with a stabilizer in a nonaqueous medium containing at least one hydrocarbon-based oil, the polymer of the particles being a C1-C4 alkyl (meth)acrylate polymer; the stabilizer being a C1-C4 alkyl (meth)acrylate polymer and optionally of a silicone macromonomer (I): the stabilizer being a polymer comprising from 50% to 100% by weight, relative to the total weight of the stabilizer, of C8-C22 alkyl acrylate, from 0 to 50% by weight of C1-C4 alkyl (meth)acrylate and optionally silicone macromonomer (I). The invention also relates to the composition comprising said dispersion of polymer particles. Cosmetic use for caring for and making up keratin materials.

  • Patent number: 10071046
Abstract: Provided is a dispersion of polymer particles, wherein the polymer is surface-stabilized with a stabilizer in a non-aqueous medium containing at least one hydrocarbon-based oil. The polymer of the particles is a C1-C4 alkyl (meth)acrylate polymer; and the stabilizer is an isobornyl (meth)acrylate polymer. Also provided is a composition that comprises the dispersion of polymer particles. The dispersion can be used as a cosmetic for caring for and making up of keratin materials.
