  • Publication number: 20210332421
Abstract: Methods and compositions for detection of vulvovaginal candidiasis (VVC), trichomoniasis and bacterial vaginosis (BV) are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, the presence or absence of VVC-associated Candida, Trichomonas vaginalis, and a plurality of BV-related bacteria in a sample is determined using multiplex nucleic acid-based testing methods.

  • Patent number: 11098376
Abstract: Methods and compositions for detection of vulvovaginal candidiasis (VVC), trichomoniasis and bacterial vaginosis (BV) are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, the presence or absence of VVC-associated Candida, Trichomonas valginalis, and a plurality of BV-related bacteria in a sample is determined using multiplex nucleic acid-based testing methods.

  • Publication number: 20190367184
Abstract: The invention consists of an actuated box and navigation aid for automatic delivery by unmanned vehicles (UAV) or drones. It also incorporates delivery information via the web linking orders, enclosure status, package specific drone homing signals, delivery confirmations and more. This system incorporates a novel and effective means for providing a standardized and predicable area for safe landing during delivery by functionalized drones. It also secures the package from theft, vandalism, animals and the weather and provides features necessary for air-traffic management.

  • Patent number: 10488147
Abstract: An electric projection weapon system is provided. The weapon system includes a targeting system for projecting conductive fluid beams towards a focal point at a target location in space. The electric projection weapon comprises at least two nozzles configured to project the conductive fluid beams towards the focal point. At least one of the nozzles is actuated by a nozzle actuator and is directionally controlled to control convergence of the conductive fluid beams towards the focal point. The weapon includes isolated pressurized reservoirs in fluid communication with the nozzles and containing a high conductance ionic solution, forming the fluid beams when projected from the nozzles. A high voltage power supply applies an electric potential difference between the conductive fluid beams.

  • Patent number: 10101157
Abstract: A free-space force feedback system that can be mounted to an input/output device so as to enable its operator complete ambulatory movement is provided. The input/output device may determine operator position, motion and torque (input) so that said device can interactively impart a command torque vector force (output) so as to provide from one to six degrees of freedom and highly realistic force feedback to an operator of the input/output device. The force feedback may be imparted by at least one orthogonally oriented MACSD (Multiple Axis Counter Spinning Disk), wherein MACSD may be mounted to the input/output device, thereby coupling reaction forces to the operator so that only the desired forces (command torque vectors) are felt without the need for connection to a fixed frame.

  • Publication number: 20180187999
Abstract: The invention is a weapon/protection system that generates two or more channels of physical medium in which travels an electric current. The current circulates though the channels due to their impedance being lower than that of air. From the generated electrical potential difference resulting at the target, the current can mildly shock, stun or fully paralyze a subject; therefore the device can be used as a weapon or deterrent for entry. This system incorporates a novel means of converging physical medium onto a controlled point in space. The system may also incorporate methods that modify the medium's viscosity in order to increase the length of continuous laminar in the channel of a jet medium (the jet length without droplet formation or discontinuous breakdown). The aforementioned medium may also be heated gas.
