  • Patent number: 11983714
Abstract: A system for sharing copyrighted digital content, including a first device configured to be worn by a user, the first device comprising an index system to manage digital content stored on, streamed to, or transmitted to the first device. At least one mechanism is included for sensory playback of the digital content. At least one mechanism is included for forming a wireless local network with at least one second device. In embodiments, an active RFID reader is also included, for use with an object containing a passive RFID tag. The RFID tag functions to perform at least one of: authorize use of the digital content by the first device; act as an index decision node input; authorize the first device and the at least one second device to form the wireless local network; and authorize use of mechanical and software features and functions of the first device.

  • Patent number: 11599146
Abstract: A method for downloading content into a wearable device is described. The method includes utilizing an application executable on a computing device to create a user account via a web portal, affixing an object to a receiving portion of a wearable device, detecting the object by the receiving portion of the wearable device, reading tag data of the object, verifying that the wearable device is associated with the user account, confirming a purchase of the digital content of the object, and utilizing the tag data to interact with a cloud backend to download the digital content.

  • Publication number: 20220225048
Abstract: A method and system for managing a user sound exposure are described herein. The method includes collecting raw audio data, calculating spectral data and a sound pressure level (SPL) from the raw audio data, comparing the calculated SPL to a predetermined threshold level of sound exposure, and applying one or more modifications to the SPL in response to a determination that the SPL is approaching the predetermined threshold level of sound exposure to ensure the SPL never reaches the predetermined threshold level of sound exposure.

  • Publication number: 20080027256
Abstract: This invention relates to a crystalline molecular sieve, in its ammonium exchanged form or in its calcined form, comprising unit cells with MWW topology, said crystalline molecular sieve is characterized by diffraction streaking from the unit cell arrangement in the c direction. The crystalline molecular sieve is further characterized by the arced hk0 patterns of electron diffraction pattern. The crystalline molecular sieve is further characterized by the unit cells streaking along c direction. This invention also relates to a method of making thereof.

  • Publication number: 20070154387
Abstract: The present invention is a method that perturbs the initial crystallization of a material from a less desired phase into a more desired phase. More specifically, the present invention is a method to form a different crystallization of a zeolite, mesoporous material, SAPO4, AlPO4 or porous inorganic oxide after the hydrothermal synthesis has started and a precursor crystalline phase has formed.

  • Patent number: 6983819
Abstract: An entertainment sound panel that serves foreground music and paging applications. The entertainment sound panel of the present invention is constructed of honeycomb materials and adhesives. The driver of the entertainment sound panel is mounted and supported on a bridge structure that spans the entertainment sound panel on its back side. The driver interacts with the panel through the voice coil assembly. The driver is separated from the entertainment sound panel by a contact pad to deal with the shear problems between the sound panel and driver. Improvement in low frequency (bass) response is provided by a butt joint that lays next to an adjacent isolation pad, and can float freely. In another embodiment, the present invention provides a lower cost flat panel sound radiator for low end business applications where the performance characteristics of the radiator are less important than the cost. The low end flat panel radiator is constructed from a polypropylene or similar material.
