The roller bearing has rolling elements, which roll on raceways provided on the respective shell surfaces of the bearing rings, and a sealing disc connected to one of the bearing rings and operatively connected in a sealing manner to the other bearing ring. To connect the sealing disc to the bearing ring, one of the shell surfaces of the one bearing ring includes a first connecting means and the sealing disc includes a second connecting means. The first connecting means provide a rotating engagement in which the second connecting means engage in a connected state of the bearing ring and the sealing disc.

Abstract: A system for displaying self-winding watches especially adapted for use in a retail store environment, includes a base and a plurality of watch-winders for holding self-winding watches, disposed on the base. Each of the watch-winders is selectively removable from the base, but is held in position on the base by tiles that are placed between the watch-winders to hold the watch-winders in a fixed relationship to one another. In one embodiment the base has only a single horizontal plane. In another embodiment, the base may be stepped to include a plurality of horizontal planes, arranged in a stair step-like fashion. The tiles are either fixable to the base by adhesive or some other suitable fastener, or are held in position upon the base by a raised edge running along the periphery of the base.

Abstract: A controllable watch winder for a self-winding mechanical watch, in which a turntable is provided to hold and rotate the watch, including a programmable microprocessor circuit configured to count the number of rotations executed by the turntable. In one aspect, the watch winder is configured to introduce, after the electronic circuit is activated, a delay period before the turntable commences rotating. In another aspect, the circuit may be configured to interrupt the rotation of the turntable with pauses, to break up the rotation into cyclical sets. The circuit may be configured to automatically predetermine the number of rotations in each set. In yet another aspect, the watch winder may be configured to be manually adjustable, to variably predetermine before use, the number of rotations to be executed by the turntable and the length of any pause between rotations.
