  • Patent number: 12052326
Abstract: A proxy server (700) receives, from a sending device, a packet intended for a receiving device (600). The proxy sewer (700) sends, to the receiving device (600), a promise frame (300) indicating that the proxy server (700) will deliver the packet to the receiving device (600) later. The receiving device (600) receives the promise frame (300) from the proxy server (700), and sends an acknowledgement of the packet to the sending device via the proxy sewer (700). The proxy server (700) forwards the acknowledgement of the packet from the receiving device (600) to the sending device, and delivers the packet to the receiving device (600) after having forwarded the acknowledgement to the sending device. The receiving device (600) receives the packet from the proxy server (700) after having sent the acknowledgement of the packet to the sending device via the proxy server (700).

  • Publication number: 20220386166
Abstract: Methods and apparatus for traffic enhancement to apply to an application, to be delivered using a QUIC session, between a wireless device and a server. A request to activate a policy for the application between the wireless device and the server is received from the wireless device, the request including an application identifier and an indication to request an enhancement function. In response to the request to activate the policy, an authorization of traffic enhancement with information of a proxy node is transmitted to the wireless device to provide the enhancement function upon the network node identifying the proxy node.

  • Publication number: 20220095111
Abstract: Methods and systems for optimizing Network Function (NF) service authorization are presented. According to one aspect, a method implemented in an NF consumer comprises: sending, to an authorization server, an authorization request for a procedure that involves a plurality of NF services; and receiving, from the authorization server, an authorization response for the procedure, the authorization response including information authorizing access to the plurality of NF services. In some embodiments, the NF consumer may comprise an Access and Mobility Management Function (AMF). In some embodiments, the authorization server may comprise a Network Repository Function (NRF). In some embodiments, the authorization response may include one or more access tokens.
