Abstract: Novel antiacaridal composition comprising an effective amount of at least one compound selected from the group consisting of cis and trans, racemic and optically active isomers of a compound of the formula ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, halogen and alkyl of 1 to 8 carbon atoms, R.sub.2 is selected from the group consisting of hydrogen, halogen, alkyl of 1 to 8 carbon atoms and alkoxy carbonyl of 2 to 8 carbon atoms and R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 taken together with the carbon atom to which they are attached form a cycloalkyl of 3 to 6 carbon atoms and R is selected from the group consisting of ##STR2## and a pharmaceutical carrier and to a method of combatting acarids in warm-blooded animals.
