Abstract: A wrapping machine for wrapping a load with a paper band includes a table supporting the load and rotatable about a wrapping axis, an unwinding apparatus having a supporting frame for rotatably supporting the reel of paper band and rollers for unwinding and guiding the paper band, and a moving assembly including a moving carriage movable parallel to the wrapping axis and supporting the unwinding apparatus rotatably about an inclination axis. The unwinding apparatus includes a first linking element fixed to the supporting frame and a second linking element fixed to the moving carriage. The first and second linking elements are connected to each other in a rotatable way about the inclination axis through a linking pin. A ball supporting element is interposed between the linking elements to slidably support with the linking pin a weight of the unwinding apparatus and facilitating a rotation thereof about the inclination axis.
