  • Patent number: 9077727
Abstract: A method for managing storage of data objects in a peer-to-peer system including a plurality of peer entities is provided. For each data object to be stored into the peer-to-peer system, the method including establishing a group of peer entities so that the group meets a stability requirement according to predetermined stability rules, storing the data object into each peer entity of the group, and each peer entity of the group generating and maintaining a group list associated with the data object, which includes the peer entities of the group.

  • Patent number: 8561200
Abstract: A system for controlling access of a mobile terminal to a communication network including a set of terminals, wherein said mobile terminal obtains access to the network as a result of a successful authentication procedure. The system includes an authenticator module for performing the authentication procedure of the mobile terminal and a communication mechanism configured for making the successful outcome of the authentication procedure known to the terminals in the set. The mobile terminal is thus permitted to access the network via any of the terminals in the set based on the authentication procedure.

  • Patent number: 7706788
Abstract: At least one user is given access to a respective home operator over a communication network such as an IP network, via an access network and through any of a plurality of supported visited networks. The user is communicated a list of the supported visited networks and is thus given the possibility of selecting one of the supported visited networks as the path for reaching the respective home operator.

  • Publication number: 20100061352
Abstract: A method for routing VoIP traffic in a local mobile communication network includes selecting a path among a set of possible paths between two nodes of the network based on the number of hops and the transmission time of a reference voice packet along the possible paths, the transmission time along each path being a function of the transmission rates associated with the links composing the path.

  • Patent number: 7586897
Abstract: A communication network with controlled routing operations, including a set of nodes, wherein topological information on the network is broadcast to all the nodes in the set. The network is associated with an external network, such as, a standard public network, and certain nodes are configured to perform a gateway function between the network and the associated external network. Each node is configured for building two sets of addresses including one primary address, which is fixed and independent from the prefixes announced by the gateways and one or more secondary addresses which are valid global IP addresses, based on the global prefixes announced by the gateways. Each node in the network is configured for using one of the secondary addresses as the source address of outgoing traffic, and for generating and broadcasting multiple interface messages containing all its secondary addresses in the place of interface addresses.
