  • Patent number: 11415404
Abstract: The apparatus for detecting at least one physical quantity of a ferromagnetic product (5) comprises an iron core (2, 2?, 2?, 2??) having an annular shape open at a respective discontinuity or air gap, a detection zone (3, 3?, 3?, 3??) being defined by the aforementioned air gap, and at least one electrical winding (4, 40), wound around at least a portion of said core (2, 2?, 2?, 2??).

  • Publication number: 20220214153
Abstract: The method for detecting the configuration of elongated elements includes the steps of providing along a supply line (A) a drawing and/or straightening assembly (4) for an element (2), a detection station (S) downstream of the drawing and/or straightening assembly, a detection assembly (3) comprising at least a first contact member (31, 32, 31a, 31b, 32a, 32b) arranged in the detection station (S) and shaped to interact in contact with the element (2) to force the element (2) along the supply line (A) if the configuration of the element (2) deviates with respect thereto. Said at least first contact member (31, 32, 31a, 31b, 32a, 32b) is associated with a sensor device (33, 33) comprising a sensitive element (35, 35?) configured to emit an signal indicating a stress produced by the contact between said at least first contact member (31, 32, 31a, 31b, 32a, 32b) and the element (2), at least when the element (2) is forced along the supply line (A).

  • Patent number: 6295857
Abstract: The machine for automatically bending profiled elements and the like comprises a line for feeding the profiled elements to be bent. Bending means are suitable to end at least a rear end of the profiled elements in a bending station which is arranged in an upper or lower position with respect to the feed line of the profiled elements. Transfer means are suitable to move the profiled elements from the feed line to the lower or upper bending station. Drawing means act at the bending station to move the profiled elements longitudinally.

  • Patent number: 5927132
Abstract: A method of bending a bar into a sinusoidal configuration. The method employs a bending machine comprising a table having a fixed central post defining a slot for receipt of the bar, a turntable positioned rotatably around the post, a pair of bending pins on the turntable, and a pair of abutment pins on the table radially outwardly of the turntable. With the front end of the bar clamped fixedly and the bending machine positioned at the rear end of the bar, the turntable is rotated to place a compound bend in the bar utilizing a first bending pin and a first abutment pin whereafter the bending machine is moved forwardly along the bar to a first indexed location at which the turntable is rotated in an opposite direction to place a reverse compound bend in the bar utilizing the second bending pin and the second abutment pin.
