Abstract: A fall arrest ladder system including a housing assembly having a retractable lanyard, braking system, safety line, and webbing belt is disclosed. The fall arrest system allows for the safe deceleration of the user from an elevated position on a ladder to prevent the user from making harmful contact with the ground. The safety line and retractable lanyard are each attached to a ladder and then attached to the webbing belt worn by the user, permitting the user to freely move along the length of the ladder while remaining tethered securely in the event of a slip or fall from the ladder. The safety line prevents the user from falling away from the ladder while the retractable lanyard and incorporated braking system decelerate the user during a downward fall.

Abstract: In one aspect, the issues of events that may impact one or more partitions of sub-socket partitioning in one or more sockets can be handled. Specifically, events for partitions can be handled in a socket with sub-socket partitioning, wherein the events may include reset, interrupts, errors and reliability, availability, and serviceability (RAS) management.

Abstract: A two component laminating adhesive is provided, wherein one component contains at least one isocyanate-functionalized compound and the other component contains one or more 1,4:3,6 dianhydrohexitols. A laminate may be formed by combining the two components to provide an adhesive and then using the adhesive to adhere one polymeric film or metallic foil to another polymeric film or metallic foil. The adhesive layer between the film and/or foil layers of the laminate is then cured. The adhesives exhibit faster green strength development and higher final bond strength as compared to conventional two component laminating adhesives not containing any 1,4:3,6 dianhydrohexitol as a coreactant.
