Abstract: A bulletproof vest assembly for enhancing comfort of a ballistic vest for a female user includes a ballistic vest is comprised of a penetration resistant material to protect a user from being injured by a projectile. A ballistic plate is insertable into the ballistic vest and the ballistic plate is comprised of a bullet resistant material to inhibit bullets from penetrating the ballistic plate and injuring the user. Furthermore, the ballistic plate has a concave section to accommodate breasts of a female user thereby enhancing comfort for the female user.
