  • Patent number: 9310844
Abstract: Techniques applied to a computing device having a display, a base, and components that allow repositioning of the display relative to the base are provided, which can be used for stabilizing and changing the position of the display relative to the base. A determination is made via a processor as to when the display is changing position relative to the base. A determination is also made via the processor as to when a stabilizing portion of the display is in contact with a stabilizing portion of the base. A force between the stabilizing portion of the display and the stabilizing portion of the base is decreased when the display is changing position relative to the base and when the stabilizing portion of the display is in contact with the stabilizing portion of the base.

  • Patent number: 9235243
Abstract: Techniques are provided for optimizing performance of a processor. The techniques may be embodied as a method, an electronic device or a computer-readable storage media with instructions executable to perform the method. In summary, processing operations performed by a processor are identified. Each of the processing operations is evaluated to determine a resulting thermal profile associated with each of the processing operations. Based on the thermal profile associated with each of the processing operations, one or more of the processing operations are grouped in a set of processing operations to be performed together between idle times of the processor. The processing operations in the set are performed at a second speed that is higher than a first speed.

  • Patent number: 8699952
Abstract: A proximity network system includes a plurality of Bluetooth devices disposed respectively in each one of a plurality of electronic apparatuses. The Bluetooth devices are arranged for enabling the electronic apparatuses to receive and transmit Bluetooth wireless signals with each other. Each Bluetooth device includes a community relationship module, an identifying module and a distance detecting module. The community relationship module stores a community relationship data of each Bluetooth device. The identifying module reads the community relationship data of each Bluetooth device to identify whether each Bluetooth device has the same community relationship. The distance detecting module determines whether each Bluetooth device is in a proximity network.

  • Publication number: 20130159593
Abstract: An apparatus, a system, and a method for analyzing and managing data flow of interface apparatuses are provided. The system includes a host and the interface apparatuses. In the host, a first controller provides data of a first channel and a second channel through a first interface port. Each interface apparatus has a second interface port, a second controller, a switch, and a third interface port. The second interface port serially connected to the first interface port receives data of the two channels and divides the same to be transmitted on a first transmission path and a second transmission path. The second controller processes data transmitted on the first transmission path. The switch switches data transmitted on the two transmission paths according to a control signal issued by the first controller. The third interface port is connected to the switch for outputting the switched data of the two channels.
