  • Publication number: 20130288341
Abstract: A microbial technology package is disclosed for the reclamation of sodic alkali soils. The method comprises forming an aqueous solution containing mixed microbial composition. The fungus Trichoderma was also included in the technology along with several biological amendments such as molasses and farmyard manure. The technology being based on microorganisms, the treatment is effective and reclaims the soil up to deeper layers. Soils reclaimed by means of microbial treatment may leach out the excess sodium from clay particle improving the soil aggregation, thereby improving water holding capacity and texture of soil. The complete microbial technology package provided in the present invention was successfully reclaimed the soil to normal fertile soil.

  • Publication number: 20130041833
Abstract: The present invention relates to a process of electronic management of organic production including cluster formation of farmers, training of farmers according to organic farming standards, providing organic compliance manual, farm diary, organic bulletin to the farmers, on-farm input management, collection and analysis of soil, providing identity card, soil health card and in ‘in soil culture’, providing NADEP and Cow Pat Pit and demonstrations on on-farm management. Further disclosed is a process of implementation of e-traceability. The information about the day to day activities taken up by all the registered farmers in the fields is collected as per the prescribed format of e-traceability by the cluster in charge on monthly basis and further uploaded in the website. Furthermore provided is a process for setting up an Internal Control System (ICS) for internal inspection of assessment of risk and its management is followed by the approval of decision from an approval committee.

  • Publication number: 20120031157
Abstract: The invention relates to a composition which is suitable for use as a soil conditioner or fertilizer. The soil health rejuvenator in the present invention is developed to provide soil conditioning which increases organic matter content of the soil and develop immunity in plants to fend off pest and disease. Moreover, the invention developed herein also reduces the harmful effect of chemicals accumulated in soil after prolonged exposure of chemical fertilizers in soil, improving soil physico-chemical properties. The invention provides the solution of sustainable agriculture by reducing the health hazardous caused by the extensive use of chemical amendments.

  • Publication number: 20120015806
Abstract: The present invention relates to eco-friendly compositions and methods for providing plant growth enhancing formulations comprising mixtures of microbial isolates. The microbial consortium is developed for customized solution of soil health related problem such as with plant growth promoting properties including root and shoot length elongation, early and high germination rate, high yield, decrease in soil pathogenic load and increase soil micro and macronutrient status. These specifically designed polymicrobial formulations would further provide protection against plant pathogens lowering the need for nitrogen containing fertilizers, solubilize minerals, protect plants against pathogens, and make available to the plant valuable nutrients, such as phosphate, thus reducing and eliminating the need for using chemical fertilizers and chemical pesticides.
