Abstract: Soap composition comprising (i) saponified fatty matter made from a fat blend comprising lauric fatty acid and saturated and unsaturated non-lauric fatty acids, the iodine value being from 44 to 58 g iodine per 100 g of said saponified fatty matter; and (ii) a hydrogel which is non-thermoreversible at 70 to 140° C. Disclosed is also a bar of soap comprising the soap composition and a process of preparing the soap composition.

Abstract: This invention relates to a water in oil emulsion composition which provides enhanced delivery of water soluble skin benefit agent. The invention more particularly relates to a wash off composition e.g that for washing hair, body, hand or face which generally contain anionic surfactants and yet provide enhanced delivery of such agents. It does this by delivering the actives through a specific water-in-oil emulsion. The water-in-oil emulsion comprises a hydrophobic phase preferably petrolatum with preferred emulsifiers being non-ionic surfactant of specified HLB range.

Abstract: The invention comprises a method of determining the concentration of a water soluble polymeric treating agent added to wastewater treatment system. The method comprises several steps including dosing the body of water with a predetermined concentration of a treating agent having a fluorescent tag covalently bonded to the treating agent, removing a sample of the water containing the tagged treating agent, analyzing the emissivity of the sample to measure the concentration of the treating agent in the sample and adjusting the concentration of the treating agent accordingly to fit within a predetermined concentration range.
