    Abstract: A height control system for an implement coupled to a tractor is provided, the implement being raised and lowered by a hydraulic cylinder on the implement, and the height of the implement being sensed by a position sensor on the implement. An operator input device, such as a lever, is coupled to a digital controller network on the tractor and is used to position the implement before setting upper and lower desired implement heights or set points. The operator input device is also used to raise and lower the implement to the upper and lower desired implement heights by moving the operator input device between first and second predetermined detent positions.
