  • Patent number: 9129344
Abstract: A method and system for padding an array of data on-the-fly in a direct memory access (DMA) controller. The method includes receiving the array of data in the DMA controller. The method also includes identifying edge groups of pixels at edges of the array of data and creating a padded region of data words along a periphery of the array of data. Each data word includes pixels of a corresponding edge group. The data words are then stored in a memory along with received array of data. Further, the method includes sending a request for padded data at a location in the memory, the padded data defining the array of data and the padded region of data words. Further, the method also includes translating the location of the padded data to addresses of one of, the data words and the array of data in the memory and retrieving the padded data at the addresses in the memory.

  • Publication number: 20150075319
Abstract: A timing pin module for an engine is disclosed herein. The timing pin module includes a mount end, an engagement end, an adapter, a pin, and a resilient member. The adapter, with a through hole is disposed on the mount end and is mountable to the housing cover. The pin has a longitudinal axis, a first end disposed on the engagement end, and a second end disposed on the mount end. The pin is slideably disposed in the through hole of the adapter and moves between an extended position and a retracted position. The resilient member has a first end engaged with the pin and a second end engaged with the adapter. Further, the first end of the pin engageably retains the flywheel in the top dead center position while extended, and makes sliding contact with a portion of the flywheel that is in the retracted position.

  • Publication number: 20140306472
Abstract: The disclosure describes a lifting system for use with a hoist, comprising of at least one structural frame rail, attached to middle portions of cross members on the opposite ends of the frame rail, such that the two cross members are co-planar. Each end of the cross member is attached to an attachment assembly. The attachment assembly comprises of an extension link and a detachable pin member assembly. On end of extension link is attached to the cross member and the other end is provisioned to receive the pin member assembly. A lifting lug assembly is structured and arranged at the center of the frame rail towards the upper face of the rail, to connect an external hoist for lifting in vertical direction. The lifting system as described above provides an easy lifting mechanism for heavy objects, such as an alternator of the electric drive trucks.

  • Patent number: 7275223
Abstract: A design management tool which automates the parallel validation of an entire integrated circuit while the individual blocks (together forming the integrated circuit) are designed. In an embodiment, a designer specifies various checkpoints associated with each design stage, and the specific information to be made available to a top level performing the validation. When each checkpoint is reached for a design block, the specified information is made available to the top level and the validation of the integrated circuit is performed up to that checkpoint. As a result, design closure of the integrated circuit can be obtained quickly.
