  • Publication number: 20260163802
Abstract: Techniques for extending unicast to multicast service reflection to SD-WAN overlay networks using a virtual interface (VIF) through a centralized policy are described herein. The techniques may include receiving, by a network edge device, a centralized data policy for unicast to multicast service reflection. The techniques may also include receiving, by the network edge device and form a source device, a data packet. The techniques may also include determining, by the network edge device, that the data packet is a multicast data packet. Based at least in part on the centralized data policy, the techniques may include converting the multicast data packet to a unicast data packet. Finally, the techniques may include transmitting, by the network edge device and to a primary replicator, the unicast packet such that the primary replicator can convert the unicast data packet back to a multicast data packet.

  • Publication number: 20260156057
Abstract: Disclosed are systems, apparatuses, methods, and computer-readable media for generating a report in response to detected conditions in a network environment. A method includes: generating one or more triggering policies; determining if the one or more of the triggering policies has been satisfied; starting a netflow process in response to the determination that the one or more of the trigger policies has been satisfied; collecting in real time data for connected devices that satisfy the one or more triggering policies; generating and saving a record associated with the collected data; generating a report based on analysis of the record; displaying a link to the report.

  • Patent number: 12615198
Abstract: Disclosed are systems, apparatuses, methods, and computer-readable media for simulating traffic flow in a virtualized network fabric. A method includes: creating in a visualization tool one or more virtual network hubs, one or more virtual branch locations, and one or more virtual internet servers; generating one or more micro-probes for clients/servers to be simulated, one or more of the clients/servers is located in each of the one or more virtual network hubs, virtual branch locations, and the virtual internet servers; generating one or more network impairments, which are associated with one or more of the one or more of network hubs, branch locations, and/or internet server locations; and launching one or more, client-role or server-role traffic invokers in each micro-probe to simulate traffic between the one or more of the virtual network hubs, the virtual branch locations, and/or the virtual internet server.

  • Patent number: 12301420
Abstract: Techniques for extending unicast to multicast service reflection to SD-WAN overlay networks using a virtual interface (VIF) through a centralized policy are described herein. The techniques may include receiving, by a network controller of a SD-WAN, a centralized data policy for unicast to multicast service reflection, transmitting, by the network controller and to a network edge device, the centralized data policy, designating, by the network edge device, a primary replicator to act as a multicast source and replicate packets toward a last hop router (LHR), configuring, on the primary replicator, a VIF usable to translate unicast packets to multicast packets, and applying, by the primary replicator, the centralized data policy on received packets.
