  • Patent number: 10734397
Abstract: A method for forming a 3D memory device is disclosed. The method includes: forming an first insulating layer on a substrate in a peripheral region, the first insulating layer having a slope near a boundary between the peripheral region and a core region of the substrate; forming an alternating conductive/dielectric stack on the substrate and the slope of the first insulating layer, a lateral portion of the alternating conductive/dielectric stack extending along a top surface of the substrate in the core region, and an inclined portion of the alternating conductive/dielectric stack extending along the slope of the first insulating layer; and forming a plurality of contacts to electrically contact a plurality of conductive layers in the inclined portion of the alternating conductive/dielectric stack.

  • Patent number: 10467777
Abstract: Texture modeling techniques for image data are described. In one or more implementations, texels in image data are discovered by one or more computing devices, each texel representing an element that repeats to form a texture pattern in the image data. Regularity of the texels in the image data is modeled by the one or more computing devices to define translations and at least one other transformation of texels in relation to each other.

    Filed: March 23, 2018
Date of Patent: November 5, 2019
    Assignee: Adobe Inc.
Inventors: Siying Liu, Kalyan Sunkavalli, Nathan A. Carr, Elya Shechtman

  • Patent number: 9285651
Abstract: A device, such as a silicon modulator, in accordance with the present disclosure employs PN diodes without sacrificing the modulation depth, while achieving lower loss and better impedance matching to 50-Ohm drivers. In one embodiment, the device includes an input waveguide, an input optical splitter coupled to the input waveguide, first and second optical phase shifters coupled to the input optical splitter, an output optical splitter coupled to the first and second phase shifters, and an output waveguide coupled to the output optical splitter. The phase shifters are designed with variant capacitance per unit length.
