  • Publication number: 20130224257
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for preparing microsphere and microspheres produced thereby. The method comprises: mixing a water-insoluble organic solvent with a dispersion solvent; mixing a polymer compound, a drug and a water-insoluble organic solvent to prepare a dispersed phase; mixing the dispersed phase with the dispersion solvent mixed with the water-insoluble organic solvent to prepare an emulsion; and adding a base or an acid to the prepared emulsion. With the method, it is possible to prepare a drug-containing polymeric microsphere cost-effectively and conveniently.

  • Publication number: 20130183741
Abstract: Disclosed is a Madin-Darby canine kidney (MDCK)-derived cell line. The MDCK-derived cell line is derived from MDCK cells deposited under accession number ATCC CCL-34. The MDCK-derived cell line can be prepared by serum-free culture and suspension culture. Preferably, the MDCK-derived cell line has low or no tumorigenicity. The MDCK-derived cell line is preferably selected from MDCK Sky1023, MDCK Sky10234 and MDCK Sky3851. Further disclosed are a culture method for growing the MDCK-derived cells and a method for producing a vaccine virus using the MDCK-derived cells.

  • Publication number: 20130116484
Abstract: The present invention relates to a cation-exchanged zeolite catalyst for an transiodination and a process for producing mono-iodo benzene by using it. Particularly, the cation-exchanged zeolite catalyst has a molar ratio of Si/Al from 5 to 100 and is ion-exchanged with an alkali metal or an alkaline earth metal in range of 2% to 50% of ion exchange capacity. Further, the process for producing mono-iodo benzene of the present invention comprises the step of performing a transiodination by using the cation-exchanged zeolite catalyst to produce mono-iodo benzene from reactants including benzene and one or more multi-iodo benzenes selected from the group consisting of di-iodo benzene and tri-iodo benzene.
