The first grabber and second grabber extend from the main body and are inclined in relation to the longitudinal axis of the needle shield remover such that they cross each other to form a receiving space configured to receive a delivery member shield.

Abstract: A pneumatic power pack for a medicament delivery device is presented having a pressurized gas container storing pressurized gas and an activation assembly for releasing the pressurized gas from the gas source. The activation assembly including a rupturer having a sharp end, an activator, and a rotator coupled with the activator and the gas container. The activator is configured to move from a first position toward a second position to causes a rotation of the rotator which then drives the gas source towards the sharp end of the rupturer to release the pressurized gas.

Abstract: This application describes syringe carriers for medicament delivery devices such as autoinjectors. In particular, an example syringe carrier is tubular and extends along a longitudinal axis from a proximal end to a distal end, the syringe carrier comprising a base section at the distal end of the syringe carrier, the base section having a fixed circumference, at least one arm extending towards the proximal end of the syringe carrier from the base section, and an expandable ring attached to the proximal end of the at least one arm, wherein the ring extends entirely around the longitudinal axis of the syringe carrier in the circumferential direction. Various other syringe carriers and associated medicament delivery devices and methods are described.

In response to a determination that the medicament delivery device is attached to the skin of the user, the medicament delivery device prevents transmission of unique identification data associated with the medicament delivery device and/or the user from the transmitter. The drug delivery device includes a main housing, a syringe arranged in the main housing, and a pneumatic power pack arranged in the main housing. The pneumatic power pack includes a pressurized gas source storing pressurized gas, a valve for the pressurized gas source, a sleeve having an inner wall, and a plunger. The sleeve is configured to receive pressurized gas released from the pressurized gas source. The plunger is in sliding gas-tight engagement with the inner wall of the sleeve. Upon activation of the valve, the valve releases the pressurized gas, and the released pressurized gas flows into the sleeve and propels the plunger in a distal direction with respect to the sleeve and the syringe, so as to eject medicament from the syringe.
