  • Patent number: 12173824
Abstract: An undersea hydraulic coupling member having a ring-shaped seal with multiple sealing surfaces extending radially inwardly therefrom is disclosed. The multiple sealing surfaces help guide the probe of the male coupling member into the female member without the risk of drag or galling of the receiving chamber or metal seal retained therein. The seal has an interfit with reverse inclined shoulders in the female member to restrain the seal from moving radially inwardly due to vacuum or low pressure. The seal also includes an internal biasing element to restrain the seal from moving radially inwardly during de-mating of the coupling members.

  • Patent number: 12173124
Abstract: Methods of depolymerizing polyolefin-based material into useful petrochemical products using styrene oligomers or polymers, and heat are described. The styrene oligomers or polymers improve the depolymerization reaction by decreasing the halftime for the depolymerization, which results in a higher depolymerization rate and a shorter residence time in the depolymerization unit, allowing for a predictable depolymerization reaction, and decreasing the branching or aromatic formations in the product.

The delivery catheter may include a deployment assembly including an end cone, a distal sleeve, a prosthetic support, an anchor sleeve and an anchor support. The delivery catheter may further include a handle having a manipulator including a guide that is connect to the deployment assembly with a force transmission tube. The guide may have various channels for interfacing with a protrusion of the handle and may be guided by the protrusion to sequentially deploy the prosthetic valve from the deployment assembly. For example, the guide may cause the distal sleeve to release a distal end of the prosthetic valve and subsequently cause an anchor support to release a proximal end of the prosthetic valve.

  • Patent number: 12175224
Abstract: Software systems and methods convert algorithms and software codes into time affecting linear pathways (TALPs) via decomposition and convert paired Input/Output (I/O) datasets into TALPs via Value Complexity polynomials. Generated TALPs can be enhanced through merging with other TALPs. TALPs can be grouped by matching the outputs of the TALP-associated prediction polynomials with some set of given criteria into families and cross-families that are useful in a new type of software optimization that allows for output values of grouped TALPs to be modeled, pooled, discretized and optimized to enhance goals or meet user goals.

  • Patent number: 12172825
Abstract: The presently disclosed subject matter is directed to a closure assembly for use with a container (e.g., an aerosol can). The closure assembly includes a skirt and a protective cap. In some embodiments, a lock feature temporarily attaches the protective cap to the container and increases a force required for a user to remove the protective cap. In some embodiments, an inner lock opening of the skirt is configured to be registered with an outer lock opening to receive a locking element therethrough. In some embodiments, a set screw is positioned in the skirt to selectively allow or inhibit relative rotation between the skirt and the protective cap. In some embodiments, a biasing element selectively allows or inhibits engagement of threads of the protective cap with the threads of the skirt depending upon application of an axial force to overcome a biasing force of the biasing element.
