  • Patent number: 10994860
Abstract: A fuel tank inerting system is disclosed. In addition to a fuel tank, the system includes a catalytic reactor with an inlet, an outlet, a reactive flow path between the inlet and the outlet, and a catalyst on the reactive flow path. The catalytic reactor is arranged to receive fuel from the fuel tank and air from an air source, and to react the fuel and air along the reactive flow path to generate an inert gas. The system also includes an inert gas flow path from the catalytic reactor to the fuel tank. The system also includes a non-uniform catalyst composition along the reactive flow path.

  • Patent number: 10999436
Abstract: Method starts with processing, by processor, receiving audio signal of communication session between member-related client device and agent client device. Processor processes audio signal to generate caller utterances, each including audio caller utterance and transcribed caller utterance. Caller utterances includes first and second caller utterances. For each of the plurality of caller utterances, processor generates relationship data based on transcribed caller utterance, generates identified task based on transcribed caller utterance, and generates task completion probability result based on audio caller utterance, relationship data, and identified task, and stores the task completion probability result in a database. Processor computes agent action ranking score that is based on difference between task completion probability result of first caller utterance and task completion probability result of second caller utterance that precedes first caller utterance.

  • Patent number: 10995688
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for determining a temperature of a thermal system that includes fluid conduits. A sensor monitors a current state of the temperature. A controller receives a signal from the sensor that is representative of the current state; determines a flow in the fluid conduits; determines a noise covariance of the thermal system; processes a thermal model of the thermal system; predicts a next-step state of the parameter at a time after the current state; and corrects the next-step state based, at least in-part, on the noise covariance resulting in a corrected next-step state.

  • Patent number: 10999319
Abstract: Embodiments provide system and methods for a DDoS service using a mix of mitigation systems (also called scrubbing centers) and non-mitigation systems. The non-mitigation systems are less expensive and thus can be placed at or near a customer's network resource (e.g., a computer, cluster of computers, or entire network). Under normal conditions, traffic for a customer's resource can go through a mitigation system or a non-mitigation system. When an attack is detected, traffic that would have otherwise gone through a non-mitigation system is re-routed to a mitigation system. Thus, the non-mitigation systems can be used to reduce latency and provide more efficient access to the customer's network resource during normal conditions. Since the non-mitigation servers are not equipped to respond to an attack, the non-mitigation systems are not used during an attack, thereby still providing protection to the customer network resource using the mitigation systems.

  • Publication number: 20210123166
Abstract: Sliver containing cellulose acetate staple fibres is obtained that exhibits good fibre to fibre cohesion energy and can be successfully drawn and made into spun yarns. Such slivers can be made of cellulose acetate staple fibres that have of round shape, a denier of less than 3.0, a crimp frequency per inch (CPI) from 5 to 30, a good fibre to fibre coefficient of friction and have a low static charge. The textile fabrics made from spun yarns have plant-based renewable resources by containing the cellulose acetate staple fibres, and can exhibit a thermoplastic behaviour to impart better dimensional stability to a textile fabric. The low denier of the cellulose acetate fibres can impart a feel similar to that of cotton, yet can be successfully processed through carding machines to form cohesive slivers and retain their integrity throughout the drawing process, allowing them to be formed into spun yarns.

  • Publication number: 20210127143
Abstract: A set-top box with enhanced features and system and method for use of the same are disclosed. In one embodiment of the set-top box, the set-top box is deployed to provide an interactive portal in a hospitality establishment having multiple rooms, such as a hotel. The set-top box generates a default interactive portal as well as a guest-specific interactive portal, which is generated from a guest configuration profile having information including guest identification, a guest channel preference presentation, and a guest service preference presentation with guest account information. The guest configuration profile may also enable the creation of a local area wireless network with substantially the same behavior as the guest's home wireless network. The guest configuration profile may further enable the control of in-room amenities, such as temperature control, lighting, shades, and availability, for example.

  • Publication number: 20210122379
Abstract: A control system for a vehicle using a forward-facing camera includes a look ahead module configured to determine a distance to a look ahead point. A lane center module determines a location of a lane center line. A vehicle center line module determines a location of a vehicle center line. A first lateral offset module determines a first lateral offset based on the look ahead point and the determined lane center line. A second lateral offset module determines a second lateral offset based on the determined lane center line and the vehicle center line. A yaw angle offset calculating module receives the first lateral offset, the second lateral offset and the distance to the look ahead point, calculates a yaw angle offset, and compensates a yaw angle error based on the yaw angle offset.

  • Publication number: 20210124598
Abstract: Interactive graphical user interfaces (GUI) are provided. Baseline data structures are received from among entity systems via data feed interfaces. An interactive GUI is generated on a display of a user device, comprising one or more screens to display the baseline data structures and user adjustment tools for customizing characteristics of a displayed structure. An adjustment indication is received from the user device via the interactive GUI, via the user adjustment tools. A characteristic of the displayed structure is adjusted responsive to the adjustment indication. Responsive to adjusting the characteristic, another characteristic of the displayed structure is adjusted, thereby reflecting an impact of the adjusting on the other characteristic, which adjusting and impact are dynamically displayed as the adjusting occurs, via the interactive GUI. A confirmation indication is received from the user device via the interactive GUI.

  • Publication number: 20210121430
Abstract: This invention relates to methods for treating dry eye and improving the quality of the meibum composition of inflamed or dysfunctional meibomian glands of a mammal, comprising the steps of administering a composition consisting essentially of an effective amount of omega-3 fatty acids on a daily dosage basis to the mammal having inflamed or dysfunctional meibomian glands, wherein the effective amount of omega-3 fatty acids comprises eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) in an amount greater than 600 mg and in the re-esterified triglyceride form, and wherein the composition administered does not include any additional omega-6 fatty acids beyond the range normally found in the source material of the omega-3 fatty acids. The composition administered may facilitate an increase in levels of anti-inflammatory omega-3?s in the meibum composition of the treated meibomian glands of the mammal and a decrease in the levels of inflammatory omega-6?s in the meibum composition of the treated meibomian glands.
