  • Publication number: 20210026639
Abstract: Latency-based instruction reservation clustering in a scheduler circuit in a processor is disclosed. The scheduler circuit includes a plurality of latency-based reservation circuits each having an assigned producer instruction cycle latency. Producer instructions with the same cycle latency can be clustered in the same latency-based reservation circuit. Thus, the number of reservation entries is distributed among the plurality of latency-based reservation circuits to avoid or reduce an increase in the number of scheduling path connections and complexity in each reservation circuit to avoid or reduce an increase in scheduling latency. The scheduling path connections are reduced for a given number of reservation entries over a non-clustered pick circuit, because signals (e.g., wake-up signals, pick-up signals) used for scheduling instructions in each latency-based reservation circuit do not have to have the same clock cycle latency so as to not impact performance.

  • Publication number: 20210027868
Abstract: A medical condition based content filter mechanism is provided that analyzes patient information associated with a patient to identify medical condition(s) associated with the patient and correlating the medical condition(s) with one or more medical condition content indicator data structures specifying negative content indicators and/or positive content indicators. A user specific content indicator dictionary data structure (USCID) is generated based on the correlation and used to process received content to filter out portions of the content matching the negative content indicators or present portions of the content matching the positive content indicators, thereby generating modified content that is output to the patient via a content access application executing on a computing device associated with the patient.

  • Publication number: 20210025697
Abstract: An integrated optical assembly is provided, with enhancements that are particularly useful when the integrated optical assembly forms part of a laser radar system. The integrated optical assembly produces a reference beam that is related to the optical characteristics of a scanning reflector, or to changes in position or orientation of the scanning reflector relative to a source. Thus, if the scanning reflector orientation were to shift from its intended orientation (due e.g. to thermal expansion) or if characteristics of the scanning reflector (e.g. the index of refraction of the scanning reflector) were to change on account of temperature changes, the reference beam can be used to provide data that can be used to account for such changes. In addition, if the scanning reflector were to be positioned in an orientation other than the orientation desired, the reference beam can be used in identifying and correcting that positioning.

  • Publication number: 20210025693
Abstract: Methods and apparatus for measuring a thickness of a coating on an moving object are provided. Light is directed toward the object at a predetermined location on the object such that a portion of the light interacts with the object. A 1D and/or 2D maximum intensities for at least one wavelength channel is captured that is produced by the portion of the light interacting with the object. A measured average intensity of the wavelength channel and/or intensities and their arithmetic derivatives of multi wavelength channel geometries is converted into 1D (averaged) and/or 2D thickness values. Based on these values an acceptability of the coating is evaluated and thickness calculated.

  • Publication number: 20210025186
Abstract: The present concrete crack repair device (CCRD) can be comprised of two nodules connected by an elongated strip wherein the elongated strip can be narrower than the nodules in at least one plane. Both the elongated strip and the nodules can comprise carbon fibers wherein most of the carbon fibers are located within the same plane maximizing the tensile strength of the device. Installation of the CCRD can be performed by drilling holes into the surface of the concrete on either side of the crack and cutting a slot in the surface of the concrete between the two holes, or adding the holes after the slot has been cut, wherein the slot and holes are located in a line that is roughly perpendicular to the crack. The CCRD can then be installed by placing each nodule in a hole and the elongated strip within the slot.
