  • Publication number: 20200095817
Abstract: An adjustable bumper assembly includes a bumper assembly insert having a bumper head, a threaded portion connected to the bumper head and a ratchet portion extending from the threaded portion. A coupling ring is threadably connected to the threaded portion. The coupling ring has a ratchet device with a tooth biased into contact with the ratchet portion. A base member includes multiple retention arms homogeneously connected to the base member extending away from a face of the base member. The coupling ring when slidably received in a through passage created in the face of the base member contacts the retention arms. The coupling ring is non-rotatably engaged to the base member such that axial rotation of the bumper assembly insert with respect to the coupling ring axially extends or retracts the bumper assembly insert with respect to the base member.

  • Publication number: 20200100143
Abstract: In one illustrative example, a wireless access point (AP) for use in a wireless network is configured to receive data packets of a multimedia traffic flow (e.g. a video flow) intended for delivery to a wireless mobile device in the wireless network. If an incoming data rate of the data packets is too large, wireless collisions and interference in the wireless network may be prevalent. Accordingly, a traffic shaping process may be performed on the data packets, where the data packets are queued in a buffer and scheduled for output from the buffer at a target data rate. The target data rate may be derived from the incoming data rate and one or more communication-related parameters (e.g. channel utilization) associated with the flow.

  • Publication number: 20200093511
Abstract: A non-coring needle for use in accessing an implanted medical device is disclosed. The non-coring needle is configured to include a compact bevel face relative to standard non-coring needles. In one embodiment, the non-coring needle comprises a hollow cannula that defines a lumen and terminates at a sharpened distal tip. The cannula includes a proximal portion and a bent distal portion. The distal portion defines a bevel face extending proximally from the distal tip, and the bevel face includes the lumen distal opening. The bevel face defines an open angle of at least about one degree with respect to a longitudinal axis of the proximal portion of the cannula. The bevel face is also laterally offset from the proximal portion of the cannula by an offset distance of no more than about 0.010 inch. A portion of the bevel face is dulled to prevent access port septum coring.

  • Publication number: 20200096054
Abstract: A clutch assembly incorporated into a power transfer assembly (72) of a motor vehicle is presented. The clutch assembly includes a power-operated clutch actuator (306) for moving a clutch sleeve (354) axially between released and engaged positions between two rotatory members. In the released position, relative rotation between two rotary members is prevented. Whereas in the engaged position, relative rotation is permitted. The power-operated clutch actuator (306) further includes an electromagnetic solenoid with an output member having an extended condition and a retracted condition urging the clutch sleeve (354) between positions. A shift isolation linkage mechanism (304) interconnects the output member of the solenoid to the clutch sleeve (354) and permits movement of the output member to its retracted position while a blocked tooth condition inhibits movement of the clutch sleeve (354) to its engaged position.

Abstract: Systems and methods for optimizing voice detection via a network microphone device are disclosed herein. In one example, individual microphones of a network microphone device detect sound. The sound data is captured in a first buffer and analyzed to detect a trigger event. Metadata associated with the sound data is captured in a second buffer and provided to at least one network device to determine at least one characteristic of the detected sound based on the metadata. The network device provides a response that includes an instruction, based on the determined characteristic, to modify at least one performance parameter of the NMD. The NMD then modifies the at least one performance parameter based on the instruction.
