  • Publication number: 20170346640
Abstract: Technologies for secure collective authorization include multiple computing devices in communication over a network. A computing device may perform a join protocol with a group leader to receive a group private key that is associated with an interface implemented by the computing device. The interface may be an instance of an object model implemented by the computing device or membership of the computing device in a subsystem. The computing device receives a request for attestation to the interface, selects the group private key for the interface, and sends an attestation in response to the request. Another computing device may receive the attestation and verify the attestation with a group public key corresponding to the group private key. The group private key may be an enhanced privacy identifier (EPID) private key, and the group public key may be an EPID public key. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

  • Publication number: 20170347496
Abstract: Embodiments include systems and methods for integrated control of environmental conditions in an equipment enclosure. For example, a novel airflow inlet structure can be installed into a primary airflow path of the equipment enclosure. The airflow inlet structure can include an integrated electrostatic filter sub-structure and an integrated electromagnetic radiation (EMR) control sub-structure. During operation of equipment within the enclosure, air drawn through the equipment enclosure can flow through the primary airflow path in such a way as to flow through the electrostatic filter sub-structure; and the EMR control sub-structure can control EMR emitted by the equipment, such that EMR leaving the enclosure is attenuated to below a threshold level.

  • Publication number: 20170344547
Abstract: A document architecture system includes an intelligent document processing engine that can receive raw data streamed from external data source(s), analyze the raw data to identify triggering events, apply rules to the triggering events identified, break down the raw data accordingly, and generating messages in an internal format to represent the pieces of data without any formatting or layout information. The messages can be augmented with custom metadata and stored as fragments that reference, but that do not physically incorporate, the messages. The stored fragments can be used by the document process engine to intelligently render documents and versions thereof. Some embodiments store only unique fragments, resulting in a significant reduction in storage requirements and an extremely efficient way of processing huge amounts of data (e.g., millions of documents) for document production. The messages and fragments are in internal formats under control of the document architecture system.

  • Publication number: 20170345323
Abstract: An educational apparatus has a controller linked with student devices, and a teacher device. Each student device is in the form of a desk with a board, a touch sensor array in the board, a display physically separate from the array, and permanent indicia. The apparatus recognises touch by a student on the board, and this is mapped to content of an overlay sheet of paper placed on the board. Moreover, multiple devices may be juxtaposed, and events may be recognised based on all of the group of devices together. An example is a paper sheet covering four devices together and having a map printed on it, in which the software recognised a particular location of touch on a particular device as being a specific region on the map.
