    Abstract: An exoskeleton device for rehabilitation of distal joints of an upper limb of a patient is described. The exoskeleton device includes a multi-bar linkage and a first platform to support fingers of the patient. The exoskeleton device includes a second platform to support a palm of the patient. The first platform and the second platform are coupled to the multi-bar linkage. The exoskeleton device also includes a transmission unit to drive the multi-bar linkage to move the first platform and the second platform to provide flexion and extension of the distal joints of the upper limb of the patient. In addition, the exoskeleton device includes an armrest and a fastening mechanism to fasten a forearm of the patient.
